Description of Work: I Called this company to get an estimate and I received a call one week later April 25 at 11:08 am. I called back and Mr Adam was arrogant and rude. I was not very happy the way he talked me; after a short conversation he said this " You know what....I am not interested to work in your project". I asked to him Are you the owner? Answer..." Hey I work here" The project was: New Deck Sq.Ft 30'x20' Approx

Description of Work: He replaced the threshold on my back French doors and the rotten wood surrounding the doors. He also painted the new wood. He came on a Sunday to do the appraisal! Adam was great, will definitely use him again.

Description of Work: Wood rot at the lower portion of the front door frame was repaired. It went well. The work around the lower part of the door frame looks very professional. The wood around the door looks like there was a new frame put up. There was a misunderstanding of how long it takes to complete the job, but Adam's good customer service skills resolved the issue quickly. I would definitely use Adam again in the future.

Description of Work: It didn't go well. The contractor came out to do the assessment and provide an estimate. The initial appointment was delayed because contractor didn't follow through on setting up the appointment as agreed. The appointment to actually do the work was delayed because the contractor wanted the enter cost paid up front. The final appointment to do the work was cancelled because the contractor kept badgering about whether I would be there to meet him at the job site after I explicitly agreed to meet him there. After the appointment was cancelled the contractor indicated that he didn't want the job anyway since he felt that he was jerked around.

Description of Work: My home is a true Victorian house that was moved in 1983 to it's current location. I wanted to have two areas of the wrap around porch fixed due to wood rot in the structural beams which required jacking, and rot of some exterior wood. As the house is very old, there were areas that had to have special attention. They were very careful with moldings being sure to remove and replace them without breaking or cracking. Adam (the owner) was fair with his pricing and the work, once started, was performed reliably and done well. We had two columns that had to be raised and the structure underneath was determined rotted to the point that they had to replace part of the supporting beam. One column had to have upper structure replaced also. And the roof had a downspout boot that needed replacement so they took it out and replaced it. They did all this to my satisfaction and within a reasonable time period. They did not skip days between the work and got the two post and roof areas fixed quickly. To keep the price down, I decided to do the caulking and painting myself. When the work was done. Adam and his crew did a very good job on all the work and I will at some point be calling them back to have more work done.

Description of Work: Repair of deck and associated pergola. Everything went well. The crew worked very hard and delivered a quality product. I have already requested another quote on a different project.

Description of Work: Adam and his crew took out the external walls on either side of my fireplace and installed two beautiful, floor to ceiling windows.

Description of Work: Replaced some rotten wood pieces on the backside of the house and the side of the chimney. There was an expectation that more work could have been covered in the 4 hour time span, had I known that wasn't gonna happen, I would have purchased more than one coupon. I have asked for estimates (time & prices) for other jobs that I need done. However, I was pleased with his work and would use him again.

Description of Work: I purchased the deal in December 2013. I chose 3 possible dates for service. I received an email at Angies List that the service could not be provided at any of the requested dates due to prior job commitments. I did not get into Angies List as I was on vacation. So, I did not see this notification till middle of January. I called the provider and confirmed a date for service. He did not want to come by and give me a quote for further work which might be needed to fix the window sill rot. He called the week of service and cancelled the appointment as he had back to back games to coach for his son's rain delayed games. This was inconvenient as my husband wanted to be present during the service and couldn't do so because of the day change. He did come in on the confirmed date but was not on time. He reviewed the problem area, provided suggestions, and then we agreed to get all the wood rot replaced and painted. He quoted a price for the additional work but wanted to be paid by cash or check right away, so he could purchase the necessary items for painting at Home Depot. He returned after shopping and completed the job within 5 hrs. He did a clean job and the window looks good. Problems with punctuality, appointment change, unavailable times, cash before service were the negatives for this service. The availability of a local community member and the clean completion of the actual job are the positives for this service.
