SERVPRO of Cayce/West Columbia & Lexington

This was a thoroughly negative experience. I called initially and explained that we did not have a "disaster", just some water entry and damage to a wall, baseboard, and carpet. I asked the telephone representative if this was something they'd handle and was assured that they would. Two men came promptly and brought drying equipment. They set up the blower/dehumidifier; I paid for 3 days of drying and was told the total would be revised up or down if the equipment was required for a shorter or longer time. After two days all was dry and the equipment was removed. I was then told that a partial refund would come upon completion of the whole project, and that a repair estimator would call soon. Sam Teem called shortly thereafter and was pleasant on the phone. When he showed up, he was exceptionally rude to our nanny and subsequently my wife. He made it clear that he thought we were wasting his time, and suggested that we find another company to handle the repairs. He was, of course, happy to charge $125 for his estimate though. We did receive a repair estimate but aren't going to use Servpro now nor ever in the future. I mentioned the partial refund, and was told that my bill reflects only 2 days of drying, entirely inconsistent with prior statements from the providers. I don't even care about the partial refund, just want to be clear to all that this is an establishment/franchise to be regarded as suspect.

The workers were good- they were quick, quiet, came in and did what they needed to do and left. It took about a week. I would recommend them to friend- they do a good job.

Not very clean

It was an insurance case but we spent our deductible which was $1,000. They did a great job and they were here when they said they were going to be here. They called and said that they would not be able to make it and came at another time. They brought the drying machines in to dry the floor and they were quiet and did what they had to do and report to us and then just leave. They were professional and very good. They did all of the drying and pulled out the insulation under the house and then put the new insulation back and made sure that the plumber corrected the problem and got us all dry. I would use them again in the future if needed.
