I bought a computer from this company and it had problems. I tried to email and I but it was very difficult, it seems the cursor was malfunctioning. I had my caseworker look at the computer and she agreed there were problems with the computer. She called them to try to find out there return policy but they wouldnt return her phone calls. She left two messages that friday. Then on Tuesday I tried to use microsoft and it was also maulfunctioning. I called microsoft and spent 69 minutes with them. After all that time they finally figured out it was the computer and not there software. My casework contacted bent oak computer again and they wouldnt return my money. Not only did they refuse to refund my money for the new computer but they refused to give me my old computer. All I wanted was my money and my old hard drive back but they wont give it back.

In September 2010, This coustomer brought her HP laptop into the store for repair, the charging port was not working, on cursory inspection of the Laptop I noticed that the battery was not receiving a charge when plugged in, I explained to This coustomer that with my experience with this issue that the price of repairing the pc would be expensive, she told me she understood, and asked me to completely disassemble the laptop and do a full diagnostic, I explained to here that the fee would be $149.00 and she agreed, she filled out a repair ticket and signed and dated it. That day I disassemble the laptop and did in fact find the damage to the charging circuit, this repair would involve replacing the motherboard, The next day I called This coustomer and informed her of the cost of repairs, she asked me to call HP and blame them for the damage to see if they would replace the part under warranty, I did call HP and spent several hours talking to their technicians, they informed me that the Laptop was no longer under warranty and that they could not help me with a free repair. I then called Her and informed her of HPs decision. I explained to her that the price of repairs almost outweighed the cost of a new laptop. She agreed and we sold her a new Laptop, She was informed that all sales are final on laptop and desktop purchases for this reason we offer a 3 Year warranty on all new PCs purchased through bent oak computer services. She did ask that we transfer information from her old laptop to the new laptop we agreed on the price and the purchase was finalized. The day the laptop came in we sat down with Her for nearly two hours explaining the features and transferring the data from the old computer. She Left our store very satisfied with her purchase and even made the comment about leaving us good feedback on the Angies list website. In October of 2010 we received a phone call from Her Case Worker and she informed us that she was not happy with here purchase and the data from her old laptop was not transferred. She also stated that she wanted a Full refund. I explained our policy of both refunds and how long we could hold onto her old laptop ( 30 Days) I tried on several occasions to contact her and she would not return my phone calls, many of the phone calls from her case worker where made after our business hours. She also would not receive our phone calls during normal business hours. We at Bent Oak Strive for customer satisfaction. Come see for yourself.
