Alaglas Fiberglass Pools

Description of Work: Faulty pool installation resulting in a sinking tanning ledge. Alaglas refuses to fix. They do not return phone calls or ever show up when they say. Fiberglass pool installed in March of 2015 after multiple delays, cancelled appointments. Improper dig, soil compaction, and back filling resulted in no support for pool. Tanning ledge began to sink within months creating safety issues, people falling when stepping into pool. Stairs on the opposite end of the pool also have no support. They installed wrong tile around pool coping and took several calls to get it corrected and the tile still isn't fixed on our waterfall feature. After months of calls finally got Alaglas's president, Juanita Miles-Felix, to come out to review problems. She initially acknowledged the issues and the next phase of headaches began. We were told that Alaglas was investigating the issue and trying to figure out how to fix it. Finally in Nov. 2016 after a FULL YEAR of phone calls and waiting, they sent a foundation crew out to attempt to fix the problems. However, the faulty work by Alaglas was greater than what they anticipated and Alaglas told them to stop once the cost of the repair continued to rise. Alaglas then tried to blame the problem on the soil and stated it was the responsibility of our home insurance company to fix the pool. They continue to blame our soil, location, flooding and Hurricane Matthew to be the cause. (pool installed early 2015 and problems already occurred by mid 2015 and Matthew late 2016). ???? Alaglas will no longer take or return calls on this issue. BUYER BEWARE! Read all of the other complaints on BBB,I think this is number #17, clerk of courts website for surrounding areas, etc!!! DO NOT use this company! Alaglas is by far the WORST in regards to product, warranty, repairs, and most of all CUSTOMER SERVICE!
