+ 3 moreOwner JR, did all the work himself. By his own admission he is a perfectionist. JR is a joy to work with. JR is extremely knowledgeable and professional. He answers phone calls or text messages quickly. He arrives in the time period specified. He preps the area he is working in, to insure that his tarp will catch any debris or paint. JR removed the interior doors, that needed painting and took them to his shop, for painting. This was most appreciated as my wife is sensitive to paint smells. I am very pleased with all the work done and will use him, again.

+ 4 moreMr. Grimm did an excellent job on everything and went a step further when he realized the previous owner had not cleaned the gutters apparently and included that task with our original request for repairs. I can't recommend him any higher-he responds promptly, makes suggestions, and does good work. I felt his prices were quite fair.
Description of Work: We needed many repairs to home we just purchased to include installing a new kitchen sink and faucet, installing new light fixtures in 2 bathrooms, installed towel rack, fixed electrical issue with ceiling fan, fix window blinds, repairs to wallboard and touch-up paint, repaired a flooring issue in bathroom and installed trim piece and sealing some seams in gutters to prevent water leaks.

My husband and I would highly recommend JR for any type of work and you can rest assured it will be done to your satisfaction and you can trust him to do what you ask him to do even if you are not there. We will definitely be hiring him again soon.
Description of Work: We own a condo in SC and live in Philadelphia. We called JR to come fix our faucet in the kitchen and fix a closet door the 1st time we hired him. He came right away when we were down there and fixed everything above and beyond to our satisfaction. We then called him again when we received a notice from our condo board that we needed our front door painted. He again came right away even when Hurricane Irma was coming. He also went out and purchased us a dishwasher, delivered it to our condo and installed it. After he was finished he sent us photos so we could see the job done.

They do things most other contractors around here have never considered, such as calling you back, showing up when promised, and doing quality work on time for a very reasonable price! I'm very glad we found them!

Since I wasn't onsite when he did most of the work, he kept me informed of his progress throughout the entire process. + 1 moreI was having trouble getting in the house, until he installed these rails. It was excellent. The rails are very sturdy, and attractive. I was in the hospital when he gave the initial estimate, and while he was doing the work. My daughter is the one who set all of this up for me. This was our first time using this company, and would recommend them to anyone. He is coming back next week to do some more work for me.
Description of Work: He put some hand rails going into my house from the garage to go up some steps.

Description of Work: We are Vacation Rental homeowners and we had a multitude of needs. JR went above and beyond cleaning our dryer vent-our dryer will be much more efficient now. He also painted our front door, installed a full view storm door, worked on our gas barbecue grill, installed toilet seats, and replaced an outdoor light.

+ 2 moreIt went very well. JR showed up with everything he needed to do the jobs in the time frame he said he'd get it done. He's very helpful and has great suggestions, too. I'll have him back again to install a light dimmer and fix my front storm door.
Description of Work: I needed three ceiling light fixtures replaced as well as a fan/light combination in the great room. I also had leaky faucets in the bathroom.

+ -1 moreThe work went fine. There was a lot of analyzing to do. The person who came out did a great job of analyzing the problem. He was a very good craftsman. My wife was happy, and that is all I could ask for. I would highly recommend him to neighbors. I had no complaints about anything he did, or the way he went about it. He even brought treats for my dog!
Description of Work: The major thing was to remove Bi-Fold Mirror doors in a closet, and replaced them with Cafe Swinging doors. He also did a few smaller jobs as well (Lights, replaced a faucet, etc.).

He was responsive to my initial inquiry and made arrangements to come by, view the house, review the tasks and provide a quote shortly thereafter. Prior to Mr. Grimm starting my job he had an unfortunate injury and advised me right away. Despite the injury, Mr. Grimm went above and beyond and finished my jobs because he knew of my time constraints. I am very pleased with the results and would refer Mr. Grimm and his team to anyone.

They not only found our the owning we had purchased wasn't right, but they ordered the new one for us. As soon as it came in we called them and they even came on a SUNDAY afternoon to put it up for us. They returned our phone calls and showed up on time every time.
