I rented from Ned for 3 years. The building was falling a part and he did his part to partially fix the foundation. The split units for AC were already dying when I went in and I was told I would have to pay $2,000 each to fix them since it was my responsibility as a commercial renter to take care of them, even thought they were already on their last legs when I moved in. I was also back charged a large amount of rent because Ned forgot to follow his part of the lease and raise rent. Even though there were statements online that said I paid on time, ever month and there was a $0 he still made me pay the full back rent for the entirety of nearly 18 months he should have raised it. That's his fault. He accepted it was his fault. Still made me pay. We argued again about this issue and the fact that he was allowing other people in the building while i still had thousands of dollars worth of equipment and supplies in there. The lease stated that he was allowed to show the property, but a warning would have been nice. Here's the kicker! The gave the potential tenant a key to the property before my lease was even up. Yep! That's illegal. I have texts from the person who had a key. Ned then laughed at me when I told him that man could have pick up an easy to carry item that cost $1k and that would have been gone. He laughed and told me that there was nothing in my business worth that amount and that he knew my business better than I did. I would be happy to show anyone links to products/supplies/equipment that I own that has a pretty price tag on it since he thinks he knows my business better. Now for the electricity bill I paid for them. Lease was up May 31st 2019. I was out prior to that, kept the electricity on for two weeks after to do a walk through. I tried for FOUR weeks to get a walk through. Contacted them multiple times and it was always pushed back. I scheduled for the electricity to be turned on and it wasn't. The tech was told there was someone on site that told them not to turn it off. So for the month of June and July, I paid their bill (autopay). I'm not sure who was on site, if it was Ned or someone that works for him of the person who he gave the key to... but I paid for electricity that wasn't even mine anymore. I was told (after many many many times of reaching out to them) that the bills needed to be reimbursed and the rest paid. I was told to mail them the bills, even though I had already email Ned copies, to which he ignored as he ignored ever old contact request I made. This was mailed a month ago. I have heard nothing from them, received no payment, and the bill is still unpaid. I would never recommend this company to anymore. Everything stated here is true and can be backed up with emails. I would also like to mention that Ned and his wife decided to put a campaign sign for Ned on my property without asking me. I lost two clients because of this. It is illegal to impose anything political on someone or a business like that. If the issue with the electricity is solved, I'll happily take this down. But as of now, all contact is being dodge and they are refuses to pay a bill that belongs to them. Hopefully I receive an email back.

We have rented the house my mom is in from the Tolars for many years, and they are always willing to accommodate her with any repairs that are needed with professional, well qualified workmen. They are exceptionally compassionate, caring, and flexible, even going so far as to finance a major project the homeowner couldn’t afford, and delaying a rent increase after my father passed. I feel very lucky to have found them to take care of my mom, and would rent from them again with no hesitation!
