We used Lowe's to have a new deck installed. BIGGEST MISTAKE OF OUR LIVES!! The company they contracted to do the acutal installation, Mac Renovations, was horrible. We were not informed of the actual construction date and only discovered upon arriving home that installation had begun and the deck had not be installed correctly - the way we told the Lowe's representative who came to our house, Sean Rayburn. Mac Renovations messed up the siding on the house, put the deck railing so that it is directly in front of the electrial outlet and made the steps uneven and sloping. These are just a few of the many errors. Donald MacTaggert who is the owner of Mac Renovations was extremely arrogant and treated us very disrespectfully. It was clear from looking at the deck that he did not know what he was doing and even his employees confessed this to us later. Pretty bad when your employees state they have had to correct many of Donald's mistakes. We contacted Lowe's to discuss these problems and were told we would get a and quot;niceand quot; discount if we accepted what could not be fixed, but now that it is time for Lowe's to deliver, they suddenly have amnesia. We have been haggling with Lowe's for 6 months now with no end in sight. Everyone please learn from our mistake. DO NOT USE LOWEand quot;S FOR ANY INSTALLATION ESPECIALLY IF THEY USE MAC RENOVATIONS!! UPDATE: The Lowe's representative who came to our house, Sean Raybun, mysteriously no longer works for Lowe's. We are still being told by Jason Reed that nothing can be done about the way our deck was incorrectly installed and they have no information to prove what we have been saying. Basically Lowe's is calling us liars.

If you are looking for a new appliance, this is the place to go. We received excellent customer service. The Lowes associate that helped us, Scott, was very knowledgeable, patient and pleasant. He spent a long period of time with us with no pressure from him to buy but answering our many questions in a friendly manner. This is the kind of old fashioned, customer service that is rare to find today. They price match competitors advertised prices, so there is no reason for me to shop for appliances anywhere else.

kitchen installation through Lowes in November 2012. Major plumbing issue arose June 5 2013. Lowes contacted immediately, agreed warranty still in effect and dispatched a service request to the plumbing firm who originally performed the work in 2012. We were told that firm, IVF Plumbing, would contact us within 24 hours. Never heard from IVF Plumbing so I called Lowes at 10AM June 6. Lowes apologized and dispatched Polyben Plumbing, who called for an apt and arrived at 12 noon.Two plumbers arrived and fixed the leak in under 30 minutes. They were very professional. The owner Ben Jordanov was helpful and courteous. Lowes told me that IVF Plumbing told them they no longer provide service to Lexington, but they were dispatched and should have called me. Note that Polyben was outstanding

The transaction and installation process went smoothly and was completed in the time frame we were advised it would be. The installers were clean, pleasant and picked up after themselves. All in all it was a good experience and we would buy from them
