The company is privately owned by John, who has his mom as a helper. Both individuals are the nicest people you would ever meet. The time and effort the two of them put into cleaning my carpets were second to none. I would highly, highly recommend them to anyone wanting their carpets or hardwood floors cleaned. I have used a number of carpet cleaning agencies in the past and Palmetto Carpet Cleaning is by far the best company I have had the experience with of cleaning my carpets. The results are outstanding, John takes his time to explain what he is going to do and he does not rush in and rush out like the other cleaning companies I have used in the past. His prices can't be beat, I honestly felt as though I should have paid him more after he left. This company is one of the few companies that follow the motto of customer service is number one. Excellent experience, price and results. This is the company I will use from now on.

Quick and professional. I have berber that showed a lot of spots where I had cleaned up spills, but a ring remained. All of those spots have disappeared, and stayed gone. It's been about 6 weeks since the cleaning, and the carpet still looks great. I would use them again. Was able to use their 3 room special coupon for 2 larger rooms.

Palmetto Carpet did a great job from start to finish. They showed up a little early but that was fine because I was home. From the beginning, I knew they were going to be great. They vacuumed all areas, which not everybody does. They moved furniture and went to work. The whole job was done in under an hour and my carpets looked great. Most impressive for me, my carpets were clean and relatively dry. I have had some experiences where the carpet was left really damp and took hours to dry. This is very inconvenient especially when you have young children and pets. Also, they applied a stain guard which most companies ask about as they are finishing for an upsell.

The company of Palmetto Carpet and Tile lived up to our every expectation. He was prompt on arrival on the date agreed upon and after a quick survey of the areas needed cleaning went right to work. There were old stains which we pointed out to him and he said likely they would not come completely out but he would work on them. Surprisingly some of the stains actually came out and others were appreciably dimmer. He vacuumed thoroughly before and after shampooing. No after shampooing marks remained on the carpet. The work was excellent - and we would recommend this company to anyone.

Vacuumed, cleaned & revacuumed carpets in 4 rooms & stairway/landing. Fit me in on short notice and took 2 hours (rather than most companies 20 min). Carpets look great, but still residual puppy smell (our pups were bad, so probably need a repeat cleaning).

Very nice, very professional. He and his mother came in and got right to work. Finished in about and hour and had me go through and make sure everything was to my satisfaction before he left. Did a great job, I think in the 11 years we have been in this house, we had these carpets cleaned twice Great job, even got stains out of a carpet I really did not think would come up and the ones he could not remove are lightened alot. Have already reccomended to a friend and would suggest to any interested parties.

They arrived early. Started right away to get the carpet clean. they explained what they were going to do before each process. THey were done in one hour and we were very pleased with the end results. We would have them come back and clean our rugs again.

I used my Big Deal coupon and added additional areas to have all the carpets cleaned in an investment property. They arrived on time and promptly got to work. They worked dilligently to get the carpets very clean. I had never used this type of low moisture process before and I was a bit uncertain about it before they arrived. However, I do have to say that the carpets were thoroughly cleaned and they dried very quickly.

I bought the special that advertised 4 rooms including the scotch guard protection. For an extra $20 (including $5 to scotch guard) I asked that they clean the hallway carpet. The appointment was set up for 9 am. At 9:03 John called to say he had mixed up my appointment with another person having the same first name and that he would be at my house as soon as he could. John and his mother arrived shortly thereafter. I explained what I wanted done in each room and showed John some of the more difficult areas. In the computer room there was a very noticeable stain where a green ink cartridge had been dropped. I asked that he do the best he could, that I did not expect him to be able to get it out...but hoped he could make it less noticeable.This is the original carpet laid in 1991 when the house was built. John and his mother got right to work. I asked how long it would take and he said about an hour and a half. An hour and a half later they were finished. They had protected furniture with plastic squares and when I inspected the carpet I found that they were able to clean it beyond my expectations. I had to look really hard to see even a trace of that awful green stain in the computer room. John and his mother were efficient, friendly and professional. I recommend them highly.

We are so happy with this service! Our carpets look brand new and the house smells fresh. The drying time was minimal. Excellent work and we will use this company again.

My experience with them was good. They were kind enough to come and pick up the area rug from my location and bring it back to me. It was quickly done and done well. I was very happy with the experience. I'll definitely be using their services again. They have a good reputation for doing whatever they say.

From start to finish it went extremely well.

We found this company on Angie's List and purchased "The Big Deal" promotion that they were having at the time. We have a new puppy that is not yet fully potty trained and the stains and odors were starting to bother me. We called them to schedule and they got us in right away. John was super nice and knowledgeable, and gave me lots of great advice on spot treating puppy stains when they happen in the future. They went through the entire house first thoroughly vacuuming, spot treating the pet stains (identifying with a black light device) and shampooing. Then they went back through again to re-vacuum and dry the majority of the moisture out of the carpet. I was very impressed with how thorough they were and how they took their time to make sure every stain was removed. My friend was also so impressed with the outcome that she scheduled to have her carpets done the following day.

Overall the services were good and I would recommend their services to others.

John and his staff pre and post service vacuumed and cleaned wall to wall carpeting in several rooms, plus an area rug in the den. They arrived on time and worked quickly but thoroughly. They were professional, courteous, and thorough. I would use them again and would recommend them to friends and family.

I had arranged an appointment John the prior week, and used a "3 room cleaning special" coupon for the services. My mother, who lives across town, had used his service (along with all of her neighbors, as his cleaning services were getting rave reviews by word mouth) and recommended that if I needed my carpets cleaned, that I should take advantage of his special. I did have carpets that were getting dirty and decided to call him. During the that call, I told him that I wanted to better understand the exact special price for 3 rooms because I've had problems in the past with pricing and add ons for deeply stained carpet treatments, etc. charged by his competitors. He assured me that the only hidden costs would be if I wanted special pet urine scent treatments or to Scotchguard the carpets afterwards, and for any additional rooms beyond the cost of the coupon. He shared with me all of those costs in advance by phone. I felt comfortable with those very reasonable costs so I booked his services for the following Thursday. John arrived promptly at 9 a.m. on the appointed day and was very accommodating in working in such a way that he would not interfere with other work going on for improvement projects in the bedrooms (a handyman was finishing up some drywall work that same morning). While introducing himself, he explained that he was the business owner and usually worked as a team with his mother. She was unavailable that morning, so he wanted me to know that may take a little longer to perform the work BUT he would be done before noon. Before John had arrived, I had prepped the rooms for John so that only the heaviest pieces of furniture were in the rooms to be cleaned, and by making sure they were vacuumed. Once he arrived, John walked through the rooms with me so that I could identify any stains I was concerned about and their source, told me about the process he used, and let me know in advance which stains may not respond well to the cleaning process to give me that new carpet look again. He then got to work by vacuuming the floors AGAIN to make sure all loose dirt was extracted with his commercial grade vacuum cleaner -- I was pleased with his attention to detail and speed. He followed up by spraying the more soiled areas to pre-treat, and then used a low moisture cleaning carpet scrubber in each room. The results were fantastic. Even the areas that I did not expect to respond well to the treatment looked far better. My carpet is a very light beige polyester frise and is now 12 years old -- he restored the old brightness and it was an incredible difference. To finish up, he asked if I wanted to pay an additional cost of $15 per room for the Scotchguard treatment, and left it completely up to me. There was no pressure for additional services. I decided that it looked so good, that I wanted to pay the small additional cost to prevent future stains. John completed all work well before 11:30 a.m. The amount I paid him was exactly what I expected to pay, also, and was quite a deal considering the results. We were able to walk on the carpets in those rooms and put in the small furniture by late afternoon...perfectly dry and very clean! I cannot speak to this personally yet, but my mother and all of her friends claim that none of the stains they had treated by John have resurfaced in a 6-month period since they had work done. Apparently, it is common for stains to be cleaned, and the stain "reappears" over time due to cleaning residue that attracts dirt. The products and methods used by Palmetto Carpet and Tile Cleaners give results that avoid this common carpet cleaning problem. I highly recommend John and his company!

I found Palmetto Carpet Cleaning because I was searching for "dry" cleaning...had had BAD experience with steam cleaning that took forever to dry and seemed to get dirty very quickly....John and his "crew" were personal and professional. They responded to my email through their website when I was looking for a company. They were able to schedule me promptly and were punctual (actually early but called to confirm that earlier suite me...I was thrilled). John clearly explained the process and system them use...they aren't dry but low moisture cleaners and it was great. Dried in less than 2 hours. I highly recommend them to others.

I purchased a carpet cleaning special through LivingSocial Deals. When I called to make an appointment, I spoke with John and told him I would not be able to use his cleaning services for at least a month. He was most gracious and told me to let him know when to make an appointment. When I called, I gave several dates that would work for me. He and Eloise came on June 4th and arrived promptly at 9:00. They moved our dining room table and chairs and some other small furniture. They spot-cleaned and then cleaned the carpets with "green" products, were polite, helpful and professional. They cleaned up after completing the task and when I asked them for a business card, they gave me a magnet with their card on it (a lasting and professional way to do business in my opinion). I cannot say enough good things about them. There is not one single negative point to be found. I definitely recommend this A+ business.
