They used a different plumber, but he came in and he tried to tell me I needed some sort of repair to the plumbing before he would install the toilet. He kept telling me I had to have this work done before I would install the toilet. It was to the point on extortion to me since I did not need the work. I went back and told them I was unhappy and that I wanted a refund on the installation price which they did. I kept the toilet and then went back to Lowes and got the plumber I used the first time. That guy installed it without any of the costly repairs this guy said I needed. For this circumstance I just ran into an installer that did not want to do the job. The price of the toilet was competitive. They were just inventing a situation that did not need to happen, I just knew I didn't need it. They came when they said they would come and according set to the schedule when I purchased the toilet.

The material (cabinets, flooring and toilets) were all great quality--as advertised--. The cabinets were delivered as promised. The flooring was not delivered with the correct quantity and held up the job for two weeks. Their contractor for the cabinet installation was "way too costly" so I hired an independent contractor to do the cabinet and flooring installation. Home Depot kept calling me to arrange deliveries (I live 700 miles from the cottage these were gong in) after I repeatedly asked them to arrange delivery with the contractor. Home Depot contractor did the counter top measurement and installation..they made a mistake on the counter top and held the job up ANOTHER two weeks, waiting for the "missing" piece. Over all, the material quality was good; but my contractor had to put up with the poor planning and delivery problems -- making more trips than necessary for him.

the granite was great. Customer service at home depot was phenmomenal. One of the guys offered to pick up hardware for cabinets in another location. I worked with Gary and Deb. They made it very easy for me.

I paid for them to bind carpet on the edge and they didn't do it. They pieced together the carpets and it looked sloppy. They couldn't match the carpet. They came back pulled back the carpet and left it and the tacts were sticking up. The contractor kept sending different people each. Home Depot tried to tell me that this wasn't a normal experience. The installation was a horrendous nightmare.

They were extremely professional and very nice. It was a good experience.
