Prepaid for multiple consecutive years Multiple problems Notified local office Did not prepay this year thinking this was non renewal however company policy is they continue Service unless you contact them After first unwanted application this past March I contacted them to state we did not want to renew services and did not want chemicals on lawn. This was noted on our account. Next month received bill! Called again Rep made note on account again. Month later received notice from collection agency for $54 for March application. Follow up with true green resulted in local mgr finally returning my calls after 3 weeks... Mgr name is Mike. He was arrogant and clearly has no formal training or experience in how to speak with customers who are less than satisfied with services, although he stated he’s been doing this for 30 years. Time for a change of career paths Mike, as anyone satisfied with their work would have developed better rapport with customers after 30 years! On only good note- a few of the customer service reps I did speak with in the weeks prior to mike finally returning my call... were good to excellent in their communication and maintained respectful throughout. Mike could learn a few things from these people! He has lost us as possible returning customers as well as our friends, relatives, neighbors and colleagues who may very well have been potential future customers. This he clearly failed to see as he felt importance to be collecting $54 as well as verbally harassing me on phone, speaking rudely and arguing his points over and over. I explained to him that I wanted no further calls or correspondence from him as I considered his call to be harassment. Mike professional managers see big picture, not the $54! A simple compromise such as offering a free service equal to $54 (chemical free) would have gone a long way in promoting your services and just good business practice! Note: on earlier call in speaking with a rep, she was extremely respectful, non argumentative and offered to decrease the charge by 50% as she said she understood our complaints and could see my points. That woman should be a manager!
