McBrothers Overhead Doors

Overall it went well. The company came for the "Big Deal" but I wound up needing a new door. They applied the price to a new door and we were able to get a new door quickly. A new keypad and electronic eyes were supposed to be installed, but they did not come in on time. Needed to call a few weeks later to have them come back, but they were responsive and came 2 days later. Changed punctuality to a B rating only because I specifically asked that they not come to our home until 9am, but they arrived at 7:45am. Overall, very nice company with which to work.

Excellent from start to finish. Great professional came out to to the work. On time and very respectful of my property. Would certainly use them again. Will probably get some replacement doors next year from them. Highly recommended.

The work turned out great. They responded quickly to schedule an appointment, came out on time, and were very efficient. They even reprogrammed an old garage door opener unit. They handled themselves very professionally.

The technician arrived on time. He went over the condition of my doors with me and proceeded to do the tune up and replace a support bar. He was fast, professional and the doors now operate better than they previously did. The only negative point was they had to change the appointment date twice which was somewhat of an inconvience for me.

Mcbrothers actually arrived a little early which was very nice. He was very polite and proffesional the entire time. He was knowledgeable about his job and took the time to explain the process and workings of the door. This door has been a bane to my existence for three years and he had it working smoothly and like new in under an hour. Awesome! Would definately recommend this company and their services to anyone.

great! the owner actually spent time with me as I decided on the exact color and type of door that would match our house. We also asked his opinion on whether we needed a new opener. He said "no" don't replace it if it is working fine. We didn't know and appreciated his honesty. The guys who installed the door knew what they were doing and were efficient and competent.

They were wonderful. The guy who came out was very professional and prompt. He made good recommendations. It was more than just updating the rollers so there were some additional services at my request. I knew that additional work may have been needed because my door was messed up. He installed a new chain and he updated the material to a higher quality. The price was very reasonable. I would definitely recommend them. Everything works good now, as far as I can tell. Scheduling the Big Deal was not a problem. They called either the next day or the day after I bought the Big Deal. They wanted to complete the work as soon as possible which I appreciated. They were great.

McBrother's Overhead Doors did an outstanding job. To start off with, they are very polite and nice to talk to. They showed me a wide variety of doors to choose from along with photo's of jobs they've completed. Their pricing is very reasonable as well as their turn around time. Their installers were punctual, and did a very clean job. After they were done, they did great job cleaning up, and even cleaned the glass panels on the door. I highly recommend there services! Our garage doors were not operable. McBrothers inspected the situation and advised us what it would take to fix everything. We accepted their recommendations and the work was completed within about an hour.

Set up appointment with provider online. Received callback next day from Jackie. We confirmed appointment for 2 pm on the next day. Received vm from Brian , the service repairman, saying that he had finished another job and could come over earlier. He left his phone number for me to confirm. Brian showed up shortly after our call. He checked out the door and advised that it wouldn"tt take long to tune it up. Brian finished in approximately 15 minutes, then explained what he had done. I was impressed with the overall experience. I was very happy with the fact that Brian called to say he could come earlier. He was polite, knowledgeable and efficient.. The deal itself was very good and I am glad that I took advantage of it.

We were so impressed and pleased with this service. Geoff Kates was the service provider. I had purchased the coupon for garage door tune-up because my doors were shimmying. After Geoff looked at the doors, he quickly came to the conclusion that the problem was not the rollers. The sheave wheels needed to be replaced. They swapped the coupon for the cost of replacing the wheels. Some companies would have replaced the rollers and then tell us that the wheels need to be replaced for an additional $125. But, Geoff and the company he represents were HONEST and professional. We had also asked for a quote on a new garage door for a home we are moving into. Geoff answered all of our questions and met us at our new home the next evening. He pointed out some problems that we would never have noticed ourselves and would effect the use of the door. He also installed safety springs, without us asking, until the new door can be installed. How refreshing to do business with a company and people that are honest and professional. Garage Door Tune-up. Jeff replaced the metal rollers in our 20 year old garage door, lubed everything up, fixed the light bulb socket and got our exterior wireless controller to work. We're thrilled. Great job McBrothers!!!

The technician showed up on time and went straight to work. He kept the area clean and was done within an hour. We are very pleased with how the garage door is closing with the new rollers - it is much smoother. We are glad we called and would have them come out again - the experience was very good.

I was having a problem with the garage door starting to close and then re-opening before fully closing. I had to keep pressing the button to close the door repeatedly for the door to fully close. Somewhere along the way the pressure of the garage door not opeing and closing properly must have put a great deal of torque on the garage door frame, as it was actually being pulled inwardly away from the facade of the garage. The repairman rebolted the frame to the facade using lag bolts and then was able to diagnose and fix the problem with door behavior by adjusting the pressure switch. I was extremely pleased with the professionalism, capability and the integrity of the repairman. I was pleased with the quality of the work on the garage door frame. Needless to say, I was very pleased with the low cost of the repair.

We were very pleased with the work that was done. The service tech arrived earlier than was scheduled, but that was no problem since my husband was home. The tech explained that our door just needed a few adjustments but was otherwise in good condition. The whole process took approximately one hour. We would certainly use their services again.

In any business, problems can come up no matter how diligent a person attempts to be. The real test of a service provider is how they adress the issues that come up to satisfy their customer. This is where McBrothers showed their high integrity. They provided excellent service and resolution even though the garage door that arrived for install was not what I had ordered and had a small dent in it. Pat and his team displayed accountability & resolved the issues to my satisfaction. This is one of the few contactors you can trust. They clearly displayed outstanding customer care and I would recommend them without hesitation.

Geoff replaced bottom panel in under an hour. Panel doesn't fit as well as original, but better than no panel.

I wasn't sure what work needed to be done to repair my garage door, and I didn't know which Angie's list coupon would be best to use, as several were offered by this company. The worker seemed very honest in helping me pick the least expensive and effective option for me. He made some adjustments to the door, and over a month later it is still nice and quiet.
