Spice It Up Handyman-I Do It All!

Brian is trustworthy, professional, and knows his stuff. Although he charges by the hour, he works very hard throughout so that you get the biggest bang for your buck. He has good ideas and is able to advise homeowners on best courses of action. Not suprisingly, he is in high demand, but if you can get on his schedule, it's worth the wait.

We had hired Brian several times before and he always does a wonderful job. He responds quickly to the initial inquiry, arrives when he says he will and gets the job done very efficiently. He even does a follow-up call a week later to make sure we are still pleased with the work he did. We have recommended him to family members who have also been pleased with his work.

Smooth as glass. Hired Brian to look over my mother-in-laws roof. She's a tough customer too. He came right out and reattached a few loose shingles. She's happy. I'm happy. Brian came highly recommended and I'm glad we found him. We have a whole list of projects lined up for him.

Brian calls back very promptly and came within the week. It was a small job so he just fit it in around his already scheduled work for that week.

Brian was very thorough and detailed in his work. He was professional and asked questions when appropriate. I plan on calling him again when needed.

He did everything in one day. He even squeezed us into the schedule because we are moving and had to get the house ready to sell. He moved large items like a fridge in the basement to make sure he painted the whole floor. We were really pleased with his work!

Brian came and looked at the projects and estimated how much time it would take him to accomplish the tasks. He of course said sometimes you run into problems and would discuss them if they arose. He is a hard worker and I never questioned the hourly charge, considering after he puts in a full day he then has to go and purchase the materials for the next day after that. There is no extra charge for the time it takes him to figure out what materials he needed for the job or the time it takes him to go and make the purchases. It took 2 full days and a couple of extra hours to complete the job. Brian is pleasant and always wants to please you. I am working on another list of projects and I will call Brian for sure. He also came to my place of business and reset 2 toilets that were leaking. Great job and I didn't have to pay plumber's prices! He is very busy and you may have to wait a little while for him to come, but he always kept in touch. It is worth the wait!

Brian returned my initial phone call the same day, and came to look at the work the same day. I had to wait a while for the work to be done, but I understand he's busy. After we set the date for him to come back he called to confirm and showed up on time with all the supplies he needed. Everything was done right and in a timely manner--he charges by the hour so that was important. I will definitely be calling him for all my handyman needs.

I used Mr. Spicer's services in the past when he installed a ceiling fan in my kitchen, so I knew that I would not be disappointed if I called him back to take care of a few other issues for me. He responded to my call within one day, at which time I explained what I wanted to have done. Mr. Spicer arrived when he said he would and had already purchased the necessary supplies. He worked quickly to replace the outside spigots and shut-off valves. However, as fate would have it, one of the spigots was leaking, and the new kitchen sink basket strainer also leaked water. I was not a happy camper, but Mr. Spicer said he would come back to take care of these unresolved problems. He returned in 2 days with new parts in hand, for which I did not have to pay, and replaced everything to my satisfaction. It is very obvious that Mr. Spicer takes pride in his work and believes in customer satisfaction. Although his pricing is on the high side, I believe that one really does get what one pays for. I highly recommend him to other home owners and don't believe you will be disappointed.

He came and did everything in a timely fashion. Did a very good job. I would definitely have him for more jobs,

I hired Brian for the 2nd time this summer. Once again he did an excellent job. This time I had him Power Wash my garage and a garden wall. Both look so much better! He is quick, efficient and professional.

I had a list that required many different job skills and he got them all done in one day. I was delighted with the light fixture. He was the one that suggested it. It has made it more convenient for me to change a bulb.

This was the first time that I placed a job with Brian, and I'm completely satisfied with the results. He was timely, professional and skillful. I enjoyed working with him...he's a straight shooter and does what he says he'll do. I've asked him to put me on his schedule for several other jobs around the house.

He's simply a really nice guy and he can do a lot of things not just limited to painting or carpentry. He's prompt in getting back to you when you leave messages. He works by himself so basically you just leave him a cellphone message and he gets back to you soon as he in. He did an outstanding job.

Brian was great. He was at my door pronto after I left a voice mail and performed all the tasks we had discussed on his previous visit when he gave me an estimate. His final cost came well under what he had anticipated. Senior Citizens should have no qualms about hiring Brian. He is honest, responsible, qualified, and friendly. I will definitely hire him again in the future whenever I have problems.

Brian was very professional and punctual with his work. He did a good Job with the painting and I would definitely consider him for any handy work around my home next time.

It was super easy. I called him, he came out, and estimated the time it would take him. I called him later and said we would like to hire him, a few days later he came over and did the work in UNDER the estimated time. He brought the wood he would need, was professional and just all around fantastic.

This is the second time we used Brian....again he arrived at the date and time agreed upon and got straight to work. He works very speedily. He did find some unexpected issues but worked right through them. He performed everything from a complicated electrical issue to a minor job of putting house numbers up.....all with a smile!

Brian arrived on the day & time that he said he would be here. Very pleased with Brian's work ethic and his work. He did not take his time but worked steadily throughout the day. Checked with us as needed, but worked independently. What really impressed us is that while he was here he noticed a gas leak.... after the Gas Co. arrived, it turned out we had 5 gas leaks. Gas Co. red tagged us until we had the Plumbing Co. repair everything, but that was actually a relief. Where the leak was that Brian found we would've never noticed ( in remote location ). The connections were so loose the leaks would've become progressive worse to a point of explosive or deadly results. Grateful that he was so very observant. Friendly. Always a smile! Do not hesitate to call him, very reliable.

I think he did all that in two days, I'm sorry I can't remember. He wasn't too good. His professionalism was okay. I would not recommend him.

Brian is an excellent professional handyman. I am so happy that I hired him. He strives to live up to his promise to "do it all" and he takes enormous pride in his work. Brian was quick to return my call and come out for an estimate. His estimate was fair and he explained in detail his hourly billing system and exactly what he would do. Brian arrived promptly at 9:00 each morning and worked tirelessly for 3 full days. He works at full speed all of the time, He never took a break, talked on the cell phone or even slowed down. You certainly get your money's worth when Brian is working for you. Brian's workmanship is excellent. He is a fast and neat painter and a precise carpenter. He works until he is completely satisfied. I especially appreciated his suggestions about what would look best or work best. He even repaired a few things (laundry tub faucet and hoses) when he found they were not installed or working properly. Brian is very pleasant and he is a happy and enthusiastic worker. Brian has a wide variety of skills, knowledge and experience in the home repair field that make him an excellent all around handyman. I would highly recommend Brian for any job (big or little) around the house. I am already thinking about what I can have him do next.

Brian has been wonderful to work with. He is very easy going, fair and pleasant. He doesn't take a break, he works hard and leaves when he is finished.

Brian was punctual and he made sure that he did everything they way we wanted. Every step was explained and the look of the handrails was great. Before the job was finished he suggested that he put endcaps on the handrails and he went to Home Depot and picked them up and installed them within the hour. He was meticulous about what he did and made sure we were happy with his work. We have other jobs that need to be done and Brian will be getting our call I wiuld highly recommend Brain for any job you may need done..

I left a message that I needed gutters cleaned ASAP due to overflow during hard rain. He returned my call that day and said he was in the area, and could arrange his schedule to come right away. Twenty minutes later he arrived. He cleaned the gutters, and looked at some other things that need fixing, such as deterioating sidewalk concrete. He plans to return and fix that soon. His professionalism was outstanding.
