Description of Work: A section of the ceiling of our kitchen came down due to an ice dam on the outside of our house. Mr. Hunt returned my call promptly, came to my house on a Saturday to do an estimate. The job was done over two days, and Mr. Hunt did part of the job personally. The ceiling looks great, overall we were very happy with his work.

Description of Work: I did not use this provider for the job because I did not have the cash at the time. I will use them once I save the money for the project (painting my house). | |Showed up efficiently for pricing and emailed a quote promptly.

Description of Work: They put in installation, drywall, closet doors, bedroom door and trim. |They did the job on time and well within budget, however the attention to detail I would rate a B since I had to do a lot of touching up once they were "done". Jim was also polite and professional and his workers were the same. I would use Jim and his team again and I would recommend him.

Description of Work: I consulted several vendors for repair work to be performed in the lavatory of our home. The ceiling had to be replaced and a lighting fixture installed. We elected to engage Hunt General Contracting. Mr. John Hunt, the founder and head of the firm, provided the most reasonable estimate. Mr. Hunt is extremely courteous, respectful and professional, qualities which today are unfortunately frequently sadly lacking in business and daily interaction. Mr. Hunt always responded promptly by telephone or electronic mail to any question or concern. He and his crew arrived at the appointed hour, and if anything unexpected occurred that necessitated that they reschedule, they always notified us in advance. They executed work of the highest quality and the area work was left neat and orderly. One would never know that a work crew had been present. Home repair and renovation work can elicit stress, but Mr.Hunt eliminated any trepidations. I would recommend Hunt General Contracting without qualification for any renovation or repair project, major or minor. Hunt General Contracting receives 4 stars.
