When I say 'Nothing' that's what I mean. I have been to this particular store twice. Maybe its me, but I had trouble finding what I needed on both visits. 1st visit --I walked up and down the aisles looking for sliding closet door hardware. I passed several store associates, all of whom could easily see I was having trouble finding something.. yet, not one of them stopped to ask if I needed help. I finally tracked down one of them and asked where the door hardware was. He had no idea and told me to find a different associate about 4 aisles up. Never mind - I went to a competitor and was assisted immediately. I got what I needed and was out in under 10 minutes. 2nd visit - I stood at the carpet desk for 10 minutes (verified by my phone!). Not a single person in the area. I left to walk around the store to look at window blinds. No one there to help either. So, back to the carpet desk -- thinking that perhaps there was only one associate in the department and they had been temporarily unavailable. I finally saw someone, who AGAIN told me to find a different associate for help, that they really didn't work in that dept. I just reached for my phone - called a carpet store and had someone at my house to measure for carpet the next day.

I went to the store to get information about kitchen remodeling and spoke to the head of the department. I was referred to the store by a local contractor. I was told Lowe's get 3 bids and select the best one, and this was confirmed for me by the manager. Turns out he not only works for Lowe's but also has his own remodeling business. He came back to me with an estimate for the work. When I asked him if that estimate was on par with the others he told me that he only got one estimate, not the 3 he told me he would get prior to working with him. He had selected 2 sub contractors, one for the removal of the countertop and one for the ceramic tile and plumbing. The first contractor that was suppose to remove the countertop careless sawed through some cabinets. Turns out these contractors were not experienced and the work quality was very poor. They had to redo some of the work because even their supervisor said it was incorrectly done. Next the guys that had come to do the tile didn't put them on straight and had to take off the tile and redo it multiple times. These particular workers were loudly using foul language in my home. I asked the Lowe's manager who had hired them why they were hired and he said they had never done work for him but he thought they could handle it. Finally, they were let go and another guy was sent out to do the tile work. He said the only way to fix it was to remove all the tile and start over. On the billing, there appears to be incorrect charges but I have not been able to get the manager to return my calls to discuss these. I had to return the microwave I had purchased and get a smaller model, but the billing does not reflect a price difference.

We use them for just about everything. We have used them for major appliances. We go there for just about anything we need.

Lowe's had the flooring that we liked, which is why we chose them. We would definitely use this company again in the future. Had no problems with their service.
