The procedure went very well. The repair man arrived on time. He introduced himself and was quite friendly. He did our repair in a timely manner. He displayed professionalism the entire time.

I went to the showroom with my son and we were engaged and talked to right away. I was provided with the information I had requested and all questions were answered promptly. They even discussed how I could maximize the value of the system and use the various features to save money by purchasing just the right features in the right combination. They scheduled an installation date and their installer showed up at the specified date and time. The installer, Vance, was super knowledgeable and very friendly. He really explained the features and ensured that I had everything programmed and confirmed working, before he left. I had requested a special service and he was able to call and get that added to the order and there was even a super prompt part delivery so that the installation was not delayed. The installation technician definitely knew what he was doing, was patient in describing the system to me, and even gave me hints to keep things in top shape (like not using LED light bulbs like I had in my old units). I would definitely recommend this company.

Late on a Friday (when else), one of our garage door openers failed to close the door. I closed it manually and called several local vendors first thing Saturday morning. Only one, Monarch Door, actually answered the phone. They walked me through a phone diagnosis, understood the problem and the importance of a prompt repair due to a handicap person in the home; called back several times including Sunday evening efforting a mutually convenient repair visit; and had a repair person on site Monday afternoon. Their repairman quickly diagnosed the problem - a jammed trolley - and made the repair. He also explained that due to the age of the opener that it would probably be more cost effective to replace rather than repair it should future problems arise - clearly understandable. He also took the time to adjust both doors; lubricate the hinges and springs; and adjust the travel limits and tension. In and out in less than 1/2 hour. A job well done and will definitely use again.

My garage door was damaged from a malfunctioning garage door opener. They came to my home promptly, provided informative information on garage door options (including insulation options) and explained the process. The installation was done in a timely manner and professionally. It looks amazing. I really love it and I've had a lot of compliments on the door and the quality of the installation.

We were referred to Monarch by a customer of my husband's. After 3 prior estimates, I chose Monarch. They were actually less expensive with the same products that I was given prior estimates for. I wrote a check for half the amount at the time of the estimate. They told me approximately 3 weeks for the new garage door (which I was fine with). Not even 2 weeks later, they called on Saturday prior to Easter and were available to come that Monday. I have a brand new insulated garage door, a Liftmaster opener and the Internet Gateway to access my door from pretty much anywhere. The installer was courteous, prompt and he did an excellent job. Our old garage doors were original to the house (built in 1987) and wooden with water damage. The openers were just as old. The springs were shot too. Went through a couple of estimates and settled on Monarch. They offered a 5% veterans discount as well. We picked out the doors and openers at their office and then they came out for the estimate. Installation of both doors was completed in one day. The old doors, hardware and openers were removed and the new doors, hardware and openers installed. Doors work as advertised and fit well. The new springs are the single spring at the front of the door. Not the dual springs on the side. Would definitely use them again.

The estimator and installer were both very professional, clean and honest. The doors were installed on the date promised, even though the outside temperature was brutally low. The installer did forget to put the outside door lift handles on, but they immediately corrected this by coming back and putting the handles on the doors. They honored all coupons and discounts that were published.

Our contractor directed us to this garage door company to pick out garage doors for our new house. We walked into the office and were accosted by the intense smell of smoke. I think its very unprofessional to smoke in a place of business where you meet customers. The usual sales person was out so we were shown door samples by another worker who didn't have much knowledge or information. We picked two doors and asked that they have the salesman call us with more details and prices when he returned. It took a long time and several follow up calls from us to get any info. The salesman came out finally and measured the door openings to give us a quote. We followed up within the week to say we were interested. Our contractor neglected to order the doors for 6 weeks and we ended having to do it ourselves. When they finally arrived (4 weeks after we ordered them) they were the wrong size. The Monarch employees never said that they were sorry or contacted us to let us know how they were resolving the problem. We were very annoyed since we really needed to store stuff in the garage and obviously couldn't since there were no doors. I called many times to ask when the doors would be in, and never received a call back. When I did speak with someone, they said they would find out and let me know but again, never received a call back. The company didn't ask for a rush order to help speed things up. When they finally got the doors, they took a few days to come out for the install. In my opinion, the installers looked like they were recently on an episode of Intervention. The doors do work so that's good. I just can't believe that with the economy the way it is, A company would be so flippant about serious errors and have such poor customer service. Bottom line, there are better companies out there for garage door services.
