All seemed to go well. He was done and I paid him that same day. I asked for an invoice and he said that it would be sent to me. The next day when I went to the pool, one of the wood pieces was in the pool and another one was about to fall. I also noticed that the door opened and shut fine now but there was a 1" gap at the bottom that would be letting all kinds of insects in including mosquitoes at night because the light is on when I am there. I emailed these problems to him and his wife answers all emails, etc. I asked to speak with Mike and was told that I could only talk to his wife. I listed the problems and after a go around in email she gave me a date of August 1 (3 weeks later) for him to come by and LOOK at the problems. This meant that he would come that day to look at the problem and then his wife would schedule another date (weeks later) to fix the problems. I asked 4 times for my invoice - none has arrived. But my check was cashed very fast. Things evolved in email so badly that my final email was that he is not to return to my house. When a client has a problem with work JUST done, someone should be on the phone talking to them or coming over right away to look and repair the problem. It wasn't new work I was asking for - it was repair to the work already done AND paid for. And no invoice has yet arrived. Also, he asked for $100 in cash to go to the hardware store to buy materials - I have yet to see that receipt as well. The whole incident is shameful.
