Professional service

I called on a Wednesday and was able to get an appointment for first thing the next day. I mentioned several times that it sounded like a wheel bearing (I've had a wheel bearing go on my cars before, and I'm good friends with two professional mechanics, so I'm not some bonehead taking an uneducated guess). Joe, whom I spoke to, was friendly and courteous, and based on the reviews I expected a smooth, easy repair. Unfortunately, this couldn't be further from the experience I actually had. I dropped the car off at opening time 8AM Thursday, and around 2PM, Joe called to inform me that the tech couldn't locate the noise, and asked me to describe it again. I did so, and also mentioned AGAIN that it sounded like a wheel bearing. Around 4PM, I received a call telling me that it was the wheel bearing and the wheel seal (big surprise) and that my new total would be $542.30. I was pretty flabbergasted by the total, but since my car was already there and the reviews were great, I told them to go ahead. I was told the car would be ready some time tomorrow. At this point, I was already a little peeved that I had to miss more work in order to get my car fixed and that it took an entire day to diagnose the problem.
After waiting all day Friday as well for a call, I finally called back at 4PM Friday to find out what the heck was going on, and was quickly told "It's ready". I walked over to pick up the car and was given a total price of $584.44. Understandably, I was not happy that the already high price had gone up even higher, and asked for an explanation. I was told that the quote I was given was purely for the wheel bearing, and did not include the price of the oil change. Joe did apologize for quoting the price in that manner. Granted, this was an honest mistake, but I was still upset. I politely paid my bill and took my car back.
Bottom line: I'm pretty certain it doesn't take TWO ENTIRE DAYS to replace ONE wheel bearing. And would it hurt to call a person when their car is ready? Thank god they only took two days to fix it or I would've missed ANOTHER day of work tomorrow. I'm absolutely livid about the quality of service here, and will never be taking my car there again. If you value your time and your money, choose someone else.

I can't recommend them because I don't them and have only been for my registration service. They are local and conveniently located for me. They are more expensive and I went out of convenience. I probably won't use them again because my car is really old now.

My inspection was up in a few days and I had never had it done in the city, so I hit up Craig's list, chose Pinnacle, called, my car was in the next day, and done under 2 hours. I've paid less for an inspection but it was pretty seamless so I'm not complaining. Would Reccomend.

When I took it in they said that my tires were bad and told me that they were in the possibility of failing. They are tech-savvy and email/text you when it is time for an oil change. Very polite and professional.

It was easy to get an appointment quickly. Service was performed well. I had no problems. I would have given a higher rating if they had discovered my tires had dry rot, but I do not believe they can be faulted for that.

Very professional shop. I had a check engine light and they solved the problem by putting a new gas cap on. No worries about getting ripped off.

Used Pinnacle again for my state inspection - 4th year in a row. Mark, the owner, and his team are always friendly and honest, get work done on time, charge a fair rate, and provide an overall comfortable experience. The shop does NOT search for little problems to charge you for or nickel and dime their customers.

I use them because they are very convenient for me. They are very close to my home. Which is nice, because I can drop my car off and walk home. They are very easy to schedule an appointment with. They do the work in a very timely manner. I think that they do good work. They even have some available Saturday hours.
