I returerd everything and went with different provider.

12 days later I found out I had to call the warehouse to give them my order number along with another credit number to insure the delivery arriver undamaged. This was my first, and will probably be my last service with angles list very frustrating and disappointing. Joe

I talked with someone from Angie's List already. Things went well. A member of my family is the person using this system. I only helped set the order in place.

Customer Service has been responsive once I was able to talk to the right person. Billing issue was resolved with vendor apologizing for the mistake. NOTE: As far as my response to Would I use this provider/practice again in the future, I answered Yes but really have not had a sufficient time to evaluate the product or vendor. Questionaire should be more tailored to the product/service used.

It was a little shaky getting off the ground and I then I haven't fully committed to it yet. When I first purchased it, I think this was on your end and asked to be contacted by them , three different times to be contacted and I went three different dates and times, and nobody from that company contacted. I was the one ended up contacting them and then we were setting it all of, then he told me that even I purchased it through you, I would still need to give them credit card number and I told him I was hesitant to do that. I purchased it for my mom because I don't know what's going to happen either she's going to an assisted living facility or something like that and I said I hated to give up my credit card number based from the fact that I might not need their service for more than 3 months. At that point they thought that it was fine and everything could go on, and told me that they would ship it, well I never got anything. My mother ended up in the hospital and when she got out I called them and I said, "you're supposed to ship it, that was supposed to come," and they said, "oh, well you didn't give us your credit card number so we can't ship it." The bottom line is I have to give them my credit card number. The people that I talked to were all very nice. It took a while to activate the alert and my mom have a little problem with the lock box that comes with it and we've been tying to talk to her but we're going to utilize them. They didn't communicate well about giving my credit card number and the thing about that they're supposed to contact me, that never happen.

It took a month to receive the package, but for my patience, they apologized and extended my service without charge. Set up was trouble free, and all the customer support folks were efficient and professional. I have not had a need for an emergency call, so can't address that.

While it took quite awhile for the Medical Guardian folks to get back to me for the initial set-up, everything went well once they did. The product seems like a very good medical alert program, since it has a GPS system in it. Thankfully we have not had to use it yet.

Equipment was shipped as promised and customer service was readily available when needed.

Salesman phoned within 30 seconds of me requesting the info online. Very pleasant, chatty, and he followed up the next day. He told me he was available at any time, insisted he would help me with any questions. I ordered the system, but had a question (he'd told me the necklace button was waterproof, that I could wear it in the shower etc.) and I noticed that the instructions that came with the button said it was "water resistant"--I wanted to know if I really could wear it in the shower. He did not respond and I haven't heard a word from him since. Other than that, I am happy with the system this company provides. The representative who helped my to set it up was very patient and helpful.

After purchasing the deal and calling the company I was informed they would need my credit card and wanted to extend the service before I had even used their service. I ended up cancelling the deal based on this.

Monitoring was fine. Had to cancel the service because Dad moved. Very very difficult to get a refund. We sent the unit back, fortunately with a tracking # and I've had to call three times to 1st confirm that the unit was returned (they acted at first like it wasn't until I mentioned my tracking #) then 2nd to ask for a credit for my unused time and 3rd to ask again for my credit after it did not come through within 30 days. It's been 40 days and they've promised to credit me "for real" this time. We'll see. They seem to be very aggressive on selling in, and not so hot on the back end.

Made initial contact, got all the info I needed, then have been contacted several times since with requests to beign services I DID NOT WANT! Only wanted information.These sales tactics are intrusive and unwanted!

My father-in-law has been alone for nearly six years. He is safety and mental situation has started to deteriorate and we wanted him to have a safety resource. Thankfully he hasn't had a problem but it is comforting to know he can reach help when we aren't here. The gentleman that helped me was great and one thing that was most comforting is that he told me that he will always be our representative and we can call him 24/7 if we have any concerns at all.

I was impressed with Patrick's knowledge and forwarded the information on to my friend's parents.

After all agreed, we received the necklace button, watch button and base station. It was fairly easy to set up and we were able to get it installed, working, explained to Mom & Dad and tested in a Saturday afternoon. We wrote up a step-by-step large print instruction sheet for them. Mom has used this "emergency call" service once so far since its installation and the communications from the call center to my sister, a friend and us were smooth. The paramedics arrived promptly. The system worked smoothly and efficiently. We all are much more comfortable with Mom and Dad staying on the farm and I am certain they are feeling much more secure also.

Horrible! Would not recommend this company.

On April 26th I ordered the alert system from Medical Guardian. I asked specifically if the system would work with my mother's magic jack phone system and he told me it would. My mother had to pay 3 months in advance for a total of $80.85. The salesman also gave me his personal contact number but he does not answer it and he does not call back. He has ignored more than 10 calls from me. After we received the system on May 7th (we were told it would arrive within a week) we discovered it would not work with the phone, so my mother decided to hook up a land line which is an extra monthly charge for her. We were finally able to get the system working on May 16th. On May 20th we found out that we could use our home alarm system the same way at no extra cost so decided to send the other system back. I called and they said they would refund the money after they received the system. I mailed it back to them on May 21st requesting a two month refund plus a pro-rated refund for May, although she had not been able to use the system. When I tried to contact them I got an automated system that said to call back after 60 days and then it hung up. I was able to talk to a person on July 18th. At that time I was told someone would contact me and it would be taken care of. As of today, July 24th I have not heard from anyone and the money has not been credited to my mother's credit card account. I would never use this company nor would I recommend it to anyone.

They explained their service, sent the equipment, helped me ,by Phone, to set it up. I haven't had an emergency, so I don't know how that will be.

I had to pay for it for three months to get it started. It was about $89 for the three months. It seemed fine. She wears the bracelet but I we guess we need to test it again. She hasn't had any reason to use it so I guess I can say its fine as far as I know. They were really nice. It seemed to be a fair price because I checked several of them. It was just all over the phone and then they mailed it to me. They were good about answering our questions and helping us understand how it all worked. Their customer service was fine because we did have to test it when we set it up. We dealt with their customer service and they were really nice.

Conract (requested) by company was quick and courteous. Compared to other companies, their total packaged are all about the same...this company had slightly better ratings in a few area. Delivery of equipment was quick and set-up was easy, including a test. No complaints.

It has been a terrible experience. I had a difficult time getting ahold of them. I returned the unit and was told I would get a refund and still hadn't received it. After several attempts, I was able to obtain the number for the billing department. I was informed that they would only keep a 1 month sertvice charge of $30.00. I was never informed of a cancellation fee until the second time I called. It is now June and I still haven't received a refund. I wouldn't recommend this service.

I filled out an online app. I received a call later that day. It went great, all of my questions were answered. The rep I spoke to was very helpful and understanding.

I, fortunately, have not had to use it yet. But they were great in helping me sign up. I got all the equipment I required almost immediately. They gave me a lock box for the front door. I had to call to change the security code for that and had no problems. All contact I have had with them has been good.

They are okay. They do what they say they will. I haven’t had to use it yet, but they have been good so far.

Their service was fine. They are good as a company. They seemed to be reliable. The service people were fine to deal with. There were no mechanical problems. I wrote a letter of cancellation and have not heard back, I assume it took effect.
