I gave him a deposit of $4200 on November 15th. He started the demo work on the 19th. He asked for an additional $1000 deposit on December 3rd to replace old electrical and install lights in bedroom. He asked $243 extra for lighting in the hall, living room, and bathrooms. He provided any receipts. He only worked from 9-3 and only showed up 11 days. I decided to no longer work with him and asked for a prorated refund. After multiple excuses, he said he would get the money to me on December 13th. He kept delaying things. The electrical work is faulty. He burned a hole in my bedroom rug. He stapled plastic in to my moulding to prevent dust. There are now little holes all over the moulding. He didn't install a ceiling fan in my son's room properly. There is joint compound all furniture and rugs in my living room. I haven't heard back from him in two weeks. He told me that he would finally have the money back to me on January 21st, if not sooner. I haven't been able to reach him.
