Distributor (lasted 1yr), rear suspension hydrolic (lasted 1 month), tire plug (failed the next day). These repairs occurred over a 2yr period before I figured it out it was the "quality" of the parts All work needed to be re-done (I went to another auto repair shop for replacement parts and install). The parts don't last and you end up having to replace them at your cost and labor. ALSO, I found out from my the other repair shop the distributor was a rebuilt (charged me $300) and I got a brand new distributor for $300.00.

I have been a customer of Adam's for 20+ years and have found him to be one of the most honest mechanics ever. I have every confidence that I can take my car to him and give him the and quot;woman's versionand quot; of what's going on w/ my car and he has never taken advantage of my lack of knowledge. In fact he has even kept my car for and quot;diagnosingand quot; and not charge me if no work was performed, not even for his time. My family has more than one brand of car and I find him knowledgable about all of them. If there is a service he cannot perform he is honest about that too and will recommend someone reliable and will stand behind their work also.Adam definitely get an A+ from me!

I would recommend him to everybody. He is honest and it is very rare in this area. He is not that little as he has a pretty big shop but he is very honest. He would look at something and tell as to what he looked. I had another person up here and I went there to get their $19.99 oil change. I put my car up on the list to change the oil and he would not take my car off the list. I told him that I would not get anything done but the $19.99 oil change. He told me that I needed a timing belt and things like that. It would have cost $2500 for a $19.99 oil change. I had the signed papers and a waiver where I was told that this was necessary. He told me that if I did not get that done right away then I probably would not be able to drive back home and that's how bad it was. I drove to Florida and back two years ago and have still not had any of that work done. He was a bad mechanic and he was a typical mechanic. I originally estimated that work with a dealer and the estimated price was $580. So, it was a major saving. It was not for the Honda that I use but for an old car but I did not care. I like his honesty more than anything, his willingness to talk with you and his friendliness. He explains the situation. He will tell you what he sees, what you could have done or what he would recommend. He does not push you because he is hungry. I called him in the morning and he told me to bring it over. He called me back in two hours and told me that it was done. He is right near where I work and I originally went to him because of the convenience. I had a problem and I needed somebody. It was not that big and so, I called him up. He took me in immediately and was done within a couple of hours. He called me once it was done. He is absolutely professional. I would recommend him to be on Angie's List.
