Messina lawncare is always professional and completes work in a very timely manner. They leave the bill and any directions needed for care by your door everytime. They are very customer oriented and if there was any issues (such as an area they may have missed with the weed and feed) Messina is very prompt to return and complete the task free of charge. Even, an apology for the inconvenience.

I called Messina as we were interested in organic lawn care services for our very weedy and sparse back yard. Messina was initially very responsive, returning my call the next business day and immediately setting up an appointment with me. They came out to do an estimate at what I assume was the planned time (unfortunately, they didn't come to the door and so I didn't even know that they had come and gone) and promptly sent us a copy of the estimate. Their estimate was quite competitive and we had all but decided to go with them. However, I first had a few questions relating to services which were indicated as needed in the analysis of our lawn, but for which we did not receive an estimate. We played phone tag for about a day after which I called and emailed multiple times over the course of a week - including a "final" phone call and email in which I indicated that I was very interested in going with Messina, and would very much appreciate a phone call within the next day so that we could confirm their services. Despite all this, Messina never called or emailed me back. They seemed like a nice company, but I simply do not have the time to go chasing after a service provider when I am the client! I think it is common practice and simply basic decency to return a client's phone call or email within 24 hours - I know that I hold myself to that standard with my clients and while I tried to give Messina some leeway, one full week of unreturned calls and emails is way beyond my limit.

They seam to know when to come. They come, do their work and leave without disrupting anything or you.

They've been treating our lawn for the last year. Great results and wife is very pleased.

I paid the bill last week. They are excellent. They use all natural ingredients that are not harmful to the dogs or to the children. The company is owned by two brothers and they are very nice. I know a lot of neighbors that started using them since we hooked up with them because no pesticides are good for children. We moved into our new house and they got our lawn perfect in no time. Our backyard was nothing when we moved in here and they got it to a great shape in no time. We kept them on for few years. We then had a pool put in and our yard was all yanked up. They came back and fixed it. They now come and do the weeding and seeding. They also do the fertilizing, aeration and grub control. It is pet friendly and children friendly. It is not a pesticide but it is all natural. It costs $100 a month if we go with their whole year's package. They come out every month to do anything from fertilizing to the irrigation. They are great. It is very nice. We started using them ten years ago and they really have grown. It was $1200 a year when we first started using them and we thought that it was awesome for what we got. It may have been a little more but it was well worth it for what they did to our yard. It was a field when we moved in. They did not do the shrubbery as my husband did that part. They took a field and turned it into a very nice lawn. It may be a little more now like $120 or something but I am not sure about it.

I have been using Messina Lawn Care for about 8 years now. When we moved into our newly built house in 2002, the builder made no effort to plant the lawn. The day the builder laid the seed, we had a torrential downpour and washed away most of the seed. Messina put a flyer in our mailbox that week and I called them immediately. They assured me that even though it will take time and effort, I will have a beautiful lawn eventually.And they also use only organic based materials, no harsh chemicals. I can say with just a little bias that I have the most beautiful lawn on my cul-de-sac and is the envy of the neighbors. My lawn is lush and of a beautiful deep green from April until November. They sowed a combination of seeds that is appropriate for southeast Pennsylvania climate and is wonderfully drought resistant. I very rarely have to water. It is so healthy that I have to mow every 5 days. Also, our property borders a wooded area and my kids were always coming home with ticks. Every year they treat the area with a pesticide and since then my children have not had one tick, not one. They also treat the landscaping around the house and pool keeping them healthy and pest free. Overall, they do a wonderful and thorough job. They also provide personal and friendly service at all times They are very reasonable price wise, the only reason I gave them a B on price is because I believe that using the organic based materials are much more expensive to use, but not overly so. I highly recommend Messina.
