Excellent! Professional, dedicated, personable, capable. We needed one more coat of paint outside of our agreement. Jon provided this extra work free of charge as it was unexpected. "I'd much rather have a satisfied customer." That's class! My husband and I would not hesitate to call them again!

It was a mixed bag. They made me wait 10 weeks before showing up with a one man "crew" as they were completing outside jobs before the cold weather hit. The painter assigned came late and left early every day...used a consumer steamer not a commercial one to remove wallpaper costing me as I was paying by the hour. The whole job took much longer than expected. Can't complain about the room painting but the cabinet job was not good...didn't use a short nap roller or hang doors properly. The rework was done quickly and professionally by another crew. I must say other than scheduling Jonathon was prompt in returning communications.

John and his team did nice work and even took time to make some small repairs to the door frame that weren't part of the job. Overall, it was a very good experience. Very professional even for a small job, which I appreciated very much.

Johnathan came out looked at the house and we discussed exactly what I was looking to have them paint. I have a very old row home that probably hasn't been painted in over 8 years or so. The house was dirty from the weather and needed to be power washed. Johnathan sent the crew out a couple of days before the scheduled job to lightly power wash the house. The weather wasn't cooperating so we gave it a couple days to dry. Finally, we have a week of dry weather and they started the job. I must say the two painters were very professional, they came out in the morning and used all the daylight hours to paint the front of the house. It took a day in a half and the job was complete it looks really good, they did a great job and the old house really stands out. I'll definitely be using them again to do more paint jobs. If your looking to have your painting project done right the first time, look to University painters to get the job done.

Paul was in charge and did a great job!! The great room has a cathedral ceiling and there was a huge crack which they fixed. The previous owner had smoked and there were a lot of smoke stains. We were concerned if the smoke stains could be covered but the primer they used covered them. There price was reasonable and they did a really good job.

The paint job is absolutely beautiful. The house was built in 1880, but looks like a brand new home. We do have more painting projects and would not hesitate to use University Painters for the jobs.

.They arrived when they said they would and worked steadily when they were here. Their workmanship is excellent. My house is two hundred plus years old and they really did make a silk purse out of a sow's ear. The only interruptions were because of rain. I definitely would use University Painters again and I have. New work on another house is in progress.

University Painters did an amazing job. Jonathan was quick to give us an estimate and very responsive to any questions we had. Paul, who did the actual work for us, was very careful about protecting our house and furnishings, extremely committed to the quality of the work, was accommodating of our schedules, and gave us a first-rate finished product. The entire job was a great experience and we would not hesitate to use them again.

It was excellent. They were very timely and professional. We had no complaints.

I was not happy with them. The guy I was trying to schedule with was quite rude. He gave me a general time frame and that was fine. Then I didn't hear from him for awhile and called him. It kind of went on and then he told me he would be out the following week. It got to Thursday and I hadn't heard anything. He didn't know my paint colors or anything. I called and we had an awkward conversation. He was really rude with me. I found it very frustrating. When they did the work, I came home at lunch and saw that the trim above my porch was yellow and I had asked for it to be red. I told the worker but he didn't speak English and didn't understand me. I came back at the end of the day and it was white. They had left their hose out for days. They left painter's tape under the roofline. Their was a post where I go into my house that they had not even painted and it was a main post. On my front porch, the porch floor wasn't painted up to the door. It was really pitiful. I left me a message that they wanted to make me happy but at that point, I was just not into dealing with him about it.

I contacted Jonathan for an estimate and he came out within a week. Provided me with the estimate on the spot for the painting, noting an hourly rate for the removal of wallpaper any wall repair needed. The work was scheduled for 2, 2-1/2 weeks later. I removed pictures etc., and moved furniture as best I could either out or to the middle of the room. Work was completed promptly. Everything was cleaned up at the end of each day. I had space for their equipment to be stored in my garage, but was always asked if it was ok to leave it for the following day. Very professional job. However, after a few days, I noticed a ceiling area that looked different from the rest and contacted the painter. Returned promptly and addressed the situation to my satisfaction. I have, in fact, requested an additional estimate for other work.

They came very punctually and pressure washed the front porch and painted the front porch trim, posts, soffitt, and ceiling. Jonathan was very nice to deal with and the estimate was very reasonable. We needed the work done in a very tight timeframe and they were extremely accommodating. Kudos for a great job!

I was impressed with the finished job and impressed with the clean up. A few days ago I contacted University Painters for an appointment to have the outside of my house painted. Frank arrived and listened to my questions, gave me advice regarding the materials needed, etc. He submitted an estimate and they will start their second job on my house this fall.

I could not be happier with this experience, from the communication and all dealings with Jonathan to the timeliness and quality of the work. We've had a lot of interactions with various contractors over the years from doing a complete gut job on our house. From that, I've generally come to expect that responses take quite a while, I end up having to be the one to stay on time of communication, and timetables are almost always longer than promised. My experience with Jonathan and his crew could not have been more different. Jonathan replied immediately to my initial inquiry on Angie's list. He then followed up early the next week- when he said he would- to be sure he could visit the property. He sent a quote right after, and let me take time to reply. I really appreciated that Jonathan was professional in his communication, but not pushy. Once we decided to go with him, he was willing to squeeze us into the schedule since we were in a bit of a hurry to get this done. I sent the deposit on a Tuesday, his guys were there by Friday to powerwash, painted on Monday, and everything was done by the time we got there on Thursday. He, his foreman Felix, and co-foreman Connie met us on Friday to be sure we were happy. There was one segment that hadn't been painted that I thought we had discussed, and I fully expected to have to haggle at worst, or at best, wait a week for the guys to come back. But, no- not only was there no haggling, Felix and Connie grabbed their brushes and took care of it right then while Jonathan and I wrapped up. Talk about customer service!! I was managing this project from 2 hours away, so I couldn't be on site while work was being done, but Jonathan's professionalism and prompt communication gave me confidence & peace of mind. I would highly recommend Jonathan and his crew to anyone looking to have a top-notch, worry-free experience.

Prompt response to my initial contact. Took some time to get it scheduled. Coordination difficult as I was not available on site when they began. Fair price, commensurate quality.

These guys were wonderful. The manager and estimator, Johnathan, made a special effort to meet me and price the job when it seemed like there was no time that we would be able to schedule otherwise. The painting work itself was very well done. A problem with the bathroom ceiling was quickly addressed and repainted, even using a special primer coat. Due to a communication problem, the one upstairs bedroom wall that was to be painted was inadvertently done in the adjacent room. They came back to do the correct wall and even repainted the entire bedroom to match the wall that was mistakenly done. Everybody involved was exceedingly helpful and polite. I wouldn't hesitate to use them for another job.

The original person sent to do the job did not do it to my satisfaction. I called Jonathan and he came over to see what I considered unacceptable. He promptly contacted one of his foremen and had him call me to set up a time to do the room to my satisfaction. Chris arrived and had the room looking excellent in less than half of a day. That is the reason for the overall "A". I consider a quick response to a problem one of the strongest points when considering a contractor. Another strong point in this situation was that I was not given a hard time at all. Jonathan and Chris were extremely professional in their interactions with me.

Came over and I showed him what needed to be done. They told me they would have an estimate the same day so that is one of the reasons I chose them. Not only didn't they have the estimate that day but they never emailed me an estimate. It was a waste of my time.

Jonathan handled the entire job himself in two days. He was punctual, professional, and knowledgeable. All in all, a great job!

The painters did an awesome job and completed all the work in 1 day. There was an issue with some staining coming through the initial primer and they came right back out and fixed the issue with no problems.

John came & assessed...he gave the number of his head foreman. They never came to see the job ahead of time, so, when they did come to start prepping & painting, I was undecided on colors....they REALLY CARED ...told me take my time choosing & tried to help me choose...very caring. They completed the entire home in about 4 or 5 days, even worked on Labor day w/e to catch up. THEY TRULY wanted to please me...I complained about seeing a few seams in the ceilings & they came back & worked their butts off to make them perfect...all the corners in my home, too , which was above & beyond spackling...so, I would recommend them & I did trust them in my home . Nice kids...a mix of different ages experience which was fine with me...who cares if they sub out the work? As long as they all know the subs are responsible, know their specialty....& are good at what they do... That fact saved me money.... job well done.

I missed the call telling me when they were showing up so i was not there when they arrived to paint. they rescheduled me to the afternoon and did a excellent job.

Painters we're prompt, respectful, and professional. I had to get this house done because it is on the market and the outside was not appealing. They moved us up on the schedule and advised ways to conserve money since we could not raise the home price listed. I would recommend Jonathan Frank and his crew to a friend.

I think that they were in line with the rest of the companies on price.
