We were seen on time, front desk service was friendly and efficient, staff was knowledgeable, patient and happy to answer my questions. My dog was made to feel very comfortable with the "strangers" tending to him! Note: I estimated fees and date of service.

Dr. Berlin told us when it was time to put our dog to rest, she would let us know. In January of 2014, our dog took a drastic turn causing us to take her into the office that day. Dr. Berlin told us that it was time to put her to rest. Me and the kids were very upset even though we knew this day was coming. Dr. Berlin and the staff at Good Hope were absolutely wonderful to us - gave us quiet time with our beloved dog Belle so that we could say good-bye to her. She explained everything to us every step of the way. I laid with Belle and held her paw when she took her last breath. Everyone was so wonderful to us. Several days later, they gave us a mold of Belle's paw print which of course we still have. I can't speak highly enough about the staff at this hospital. We have another dog now and continue to go there. They are also very wonderful with her.
We have been to other vets in the area and find that at times, the costs for tests are much lower than other veterinarians. Other areas they are higher, but overall, I believe generally veterinarian care is expensive regardless of where you go. I don't feel that their prices are ridiculously out of line.

Vet was open on a Sunday and didn't charge a surcharge for weekend hours.
Very polite and professional.. made us feel very welcome. Pricing was substantially cheaper than our previous vet. These guys have our business indefinitely.

To my family and I, having us scramble to find assistance elsewhere during an emergency is unacceptable. What is the point of having a good vet if they are not accessible when you really need them? I have used vets in other areas before that have doctors on call in case of emergencies, including after hours but we were simply told there is only one doctor working on Sundays and that we would have to go somewhere else.

"Dear [member name removed], It looks like you called us during our very first Sunday that we were open for business. We apologize that we were unable to accommodate your needs that day with your pet, however, if you were in an emergency situation where there was potential that your pet may have needed round the clock monitoring and care, it is likely that we would have referred you to a neighboring facility for the best interest of your pet. For the first several Sunday’s that we were open in June, we were operating with a minimal staff, which is why we were hesitant to admit any patients into the hospital for monitoring/treatment without having a recovery technician available to provide consistent monitoring for the patient. We believe in providing our clients and patients with the very best medical care, and during that particular and rare occasion, if our doctor did not feel that we could provide you that high level of service that we expect from ourselves, we would have had to regretfully refer you to another facility. We would never want to admit an emergency patient and then not be able to take the best care of them, as we have your pet’s best interests at heart. Please know that since we first started being open on Sundays for appointments, we have increased our staffing to better accommodate any potential emergencies. We do not know the exact nature of your emergency, but we would greatly appreciate some added details and your personal and direct feedback. I encourage you to call into our office and ask to speak directly with our office manager – Heather – we value and appreciate your business as well as your feedback as we strive to use this information to improve on our services. We look forward to hearing from you and hope that you will give us another chance."

Very well. The vet tec took my puppy back, weighed her and gave her vaccinations and brought her back in a matter of 10 minutes.

They are caring and very thorough. They work on an appointment basis unless you have an emergency. I do think their prices are a little high.

My 13 year old whippet, Tyler, was loosing weight and acting out. It turns out that he has high blood pressure and had developed separation anxiety. He is not on "puppy prozac" and high blood pressure medicine. The vet and staff were very accommodating.

It was time for all his shots, and like a physical and he had blood work done. I think their price is reasonable. People don't want to spend money on their pets, but it is just like people doctors. All that stuff is a lot of money. You are paying for a building, and all the workers and all the stuff. I think it is reasonable.
I think they are very good. We like Dr. Berlin and we try to get her all the time. She is very good with our dog. They seem very concerned and we are very happy there.
