Luis came to our door today, Friday September 21, 2018 and told my 78 year old mother, who we support, they were no longer cutting our lawn. She contacted me and I called Luis right away and asked him Why? My father, Luis Sr. told me it isn’t worth our while to bring a push mower, was what Luis Jr. relayed to me. He was on speaker phone and along with me, my 17 year old son and my mother heard this clearly. To let everyone know, they never came on the day they originally set with us, which was Thursday. It was on their schedule and we paid $12 over the going rate for them, $42 per cut and I felt it was ok to ask them to move a little slower and respect our lawn. I did text Luis Jr. twice. The first text being sent September 14th and the second being sent the 21st, both due to them driving so quickly with the lawnmower that it tore our lawn and left 3 to 4 foot bald tire marks in multi areas. These had to be patched or seeded each time by me and if i were able to post photos of the lawn I would. If I were able to post photos of our text exchanges I would. They were always very polite and I treated Luis and his family with the outmost respect. After Luis' comment about our yard not being worth the time I did tell him I would be posting a review on Home Advisor to warn people. Luis came back flipantly with the comment, Do what you have to do. We are fairly new to the community, so did not know the true cost for mowing. Quitting a job the day after the lawn should have been cut is awful customer service. We are lucky to have a pool to choose from that is much cheaper per lawn cutting. We have a beautifully landscaped yard and this was not the company for us. BE ADVISED! This could happen to you. They did send us a bill for the 2 cuttings and we promptly paid because we are good people and do not short change others. I needed to put this because in another review I read someone did not pay. After dealing with this company I believe the homeowners review 100%.

I have used this group since 2017. Their pricing is very reasonable. The team is responsive and friendly. They don’t always blow the back patio when they cut. Often I have to remind them. Overall, they provide a good service for the price.

I hired S&R to mow our front and back yards. They are neat and efficient. Our yard needs some extensive work and I trust them to get it in shape.

I can't rate them on some areas because they never showed up. When I tried to get a quote I had to call them 2x to come out, even after they told me they would come the first time. When they finally agreed to take the job, they showed up and did 1/4th of the work and never did the back. Never called me to tell me why or anything. I have since tried to get them out one more time and they are not returning my calls at this point.
