Replaced entire unit in a few hours.

First of all, they called me immediately after I asked the Angie’s list for a plumber. How did they know my telephone number ? Does the Angie’s have a close connection to this company ? Very surprising. Secondly, they quated me for a toilet replacement $550! I paid more than $350 (including their coupon ). Quality wasn’t good either. Don’t hire!

CHARLIE W. was great! The source of the leak from the upstairs tub was not obvious, so Charlie began to work very methodically to figure out what needed fixing. With that done he turned his attention to the other jobs. My new kitchen drains are things of beauty; the plumbing work is neat and also looks great since I had a lot of rusted stuff under there. The shower heads that I had were from the previous home owner so they were dated, dripped, etc. Again, Charlie's work was neat and clean, professional. So happy to find this co.

Technician was punctual and professional at diagnosing the issue with my furnace which was a bad control board and burnt out furnace inducer blower motor. He quoted a price of over $1,200 to repair the problem and said the circuit board wasn't OEM so there would not be a warranty on the board. He also said it would be about 3 days for the parts to come in. He recommended replacing the system because it was 10 years old. I had a service plan with One Hour so it would have knocked $500 off of the repair. I have a feeling without the plan I would have been quoted closer to the $700 amount. I looked online and was able to find the board and the motor and total for parts was $250 retail. It probably would be less than an hour for the repair itself. I understand the need to make a profit, but this is just outright profiteering.

They provided 2 choices to fix the problem, & I decided for a more permanent solution .BF plumbers were very thorough & I should never have that problem again.

The workmen were very professional , courteous, punctual, & cleaned up thoroughly. The work that was done was explained well.

They did a nice job. It was kind of pricey, but you pay for quality work. They were prompt and did exceptional work. One person came out, they were very professional, and it took a half an hour.

He was great. He was friendly and professional. He was very thorough and took his time. He acted like I was a high paying customer. He was probably one of the nicest people I have ever met.

Not good. The repair guy stated he was not a contractor and would have to rebuild the wall the sink was attached. The repair guy said he could possibly fix the leak but they really don't repair commercial sinks because they don't have the parts to service. First of all it's a sink! Second they are plumbers! He did put a washer on it. I stated we had another hand sink that needed tightening and he again said he doesn't do that type of commercial sink. I stated I specifically told the phone person that we were a commercial establishment. He said they do that a lot and should not be assigning jobs of that nature. We paid $76 for 5 minutes of work to change a washer. I called another local plumber who repaired the wall and all sink parts!

Above and beyond no matter what they repair for us. They were here in 20 minutes.

Technician gave us the recommendation to move the main shut off. They gave us confidence in our decision.

The work was very professional and looks great. I do have their plumbing plan. That saved me a lot of money. It would have cost me a lot more without their yearly plan.

They came out to install a faucet in my laundry room utility sink. I provided the faucet which only cost $25. The previous faucet was already removed for them. For 45 min of work and no supplies needed from them, just straight labor charge, I was charged $296. There are too many other plumbing companies out there than to use this price gouging company. I suggest you look elsewhere.

Very well....felt price was high, because it was a replacement, which we had, it had same hook up etc. They reviewed that fact, and they gave me $50.00 back.

They resolved them all. I would definitely use them in the future.

I had a leaky bathroom faucet. I saw an Angie's List deal for $35 to diagnose the issue and $50 credit toward the repair. Sounded perfect! I was contacted and a plumber came out to assess. He was unable to fix the issue at the time and said he needed to order a part. 4 weeks later, I had not received any follow-up whatsoever. I sent an email inquiring about the status of the parts. Another 9 days went by before I received a response. Finally a follow-up visit was scheduled and a plumber returned. But guess what.... he could not fix it! Leaky faucet seemed like a simple fix for a professional plumbing service, but I guess not. Buyer beware...............

Terrible!! Used this after hours service and got burned for 265.00. This is what they charged me to just come out and look at the electric box. Was told wire going into box was 100 amp but box ired for 200 amp and graciously offered to replace the entire box the next day for 2500 + dollars. Said would be a 2 person job. Person left house without doing anything more than walking away with my money. Was there less than half hour. Wish I made 530.00 an hour.

The Big Deal was rather misrepresented. They acted like they were given me a great value, but my bill ended up being over $400. They said they were given me a great deal because the Big Deal didn't include my type of water heaters. The figures were juggled around. It was way overpriced and I wouldn't do it again. They did fine work. It was very tidy. I just had the feeling I was overcharged.

No major issues, sold me on a service contract that I decided I didn't want and cancelled later (successfully).

Not well. I bought a coupon off of Angie's List and made an appt for the day - that went well. Plumber showed up on time and was friendly. That went well. I showed the plumber the sink and the items that needed to be done to finalize what my husband had started. The plumber gave me two estimates: one for doing the 3 things that would finish the job and one for putting in new pipes and tubes for the water supply. The estimates were $316 and $366, respectively. Not good. At this point, I would have said no due to the very high estimates, but I would have no other use for the coupon I had already bought. I proceeded with the $316 estimate. The plumber was there for an hour. He connected the drain pipe, bolted the sink basin into the wall and caulked around the sink. The caulk was sloppy. It is literally on my basin and was on the wall until I peeled it off. The caulk is also very heavy on the left side of the basin but very light on the right side. Additionally, the water tubes were not tucked behind the pedestal (I did that) and the faucet was not bled so it dripped until I took off the aerator and put the water on full force, and then replaced the aerator. I would not recommend, nor use, this service again. For $316, for very little work, I expect perfection from a professional.

This was excellent from beginning to end. The rep showed up on time, was very professional, and did everything he was supposed to do. Was very efficient in discussing their various plans for service. Was very knowledgeable about my areas water supply with chemicals that are in it. Discussed their type of water purification system and also tankless water heaters. He offered suggestions as to a couple areas I had questions about. This is a company I am keeping in mind for getting a complete home maintenance plan. From what he described this is an excellent way for me to go.

Benjamin Franklin Plumbing did a great job. I was happy that they could come out right away. It was easy to set up an appointment and when they were able to come out earlier they called to confirm that it would work for me. The service man was very friendly and professional and did a good job. He noticed some work under the sink (shut off valves) that were old and gave me an estimate to replace them. I was not interested in doing this and he did not try to talk me into it which was nice. He also checked the pH of the water to make sure that our neutralizer was working. I appreciated that. It was really nice to have this problem taken care of so quickly and easily and presented with a similar problem I would call them again.

Great service! The tech who came to my house put booties on at the door. He assessed the jobs, talked me through what he was going to do and went right to work. He finished the work quickly! Looked at both bath tub drains and sink drains. The sinks only needed a little work, one bath tub was ok the other was clogged. He fixed it all! Great price! Thank you!!

Charlie W. with Benjamin Franklin Plumbing (South East PA) showed up promptly, even though I scheduled my apt. for an odd hour of the night. He came right in, introduced himself and quickly began assessing the problem. Within in less than an hour he replaced some parts, reset our water heater's timer and cycle (was way off), and increased it's temperature as well (we were'nt getting hot enough water even when it did work!). By the time he had finished up, I had hot water again-- and he explained the cause of the problems. Thank you very much, Charlie W!

Plumber Ed showed up at the agreed upon time. Ed was very friendly from the start. He took the time to explain to me my options in detail. Not only did he replace my subpump but he went out of his way to change my setup so the system would work better. He was very detailed and very informative. Also checked my water quality which was greatly appreciated. Overall I was thrilled with his professionalism. I was ok with the price because the company's website provided a coupon other wise it would have been $54 more and that did not include the service fee of $76. I am also pleased the the coverage plans they offer.
