Precision Painting Plus of Philadelphia

Precision's quote was about $700 more than any other quote we received and didn't even include the cost of paint, but we decided to splurge to make sure the job was done right after Gil convinced us that we were paying for quality. Our quote included radiators, trim, closets and a fireplace. He mentioned that they would also do some minimal sanding and staining on unpainted trim that had seen better days. On the day the painters arrived, it was confirmed that the trim could be addressed and estimated that the whole job would be done in 3-4 days. On the third day, (Wednesday) Joel told us that the work was done, but the fireplace, closets and trim had not been done. In addition, the work was sloppy in a few places, mostly where the trim met the walls. My wife and I painted our last apartment in a prewar building and we know that we could have done a better job ourselves. In any case, there was a lot of poor communication and they could not get another painter in there to finish the work until the following Monday. When the painter arrived, he told us that he was only told to paint the fireplace. The painter then told us that he was leaving because Gil is very disrespectful and never told him that he needed to do the closets or work on the unpainted trim. This put our plans to move 2 days later in limbo as we pleaded with the painter to stay and finish the job. Eventually he stayed and did a great job. When Gil did the walkthrough, he tried to pin the sloppy work on the age of the house. I don't see how that can affect how one places tape on wall trim. He also acted as if he did us a favor by finishing the closets, even though they were included in the contract. When we first got our quote, it was estimated that the cost for paint and materials would be about $400-500. We wound up paying $1500 for materials. In the end our job wound up costing more than $2500 more than the next most expensive quote and it was not to our satisfaction. Gil did not seem to care and did not really offer anything meaningful as compensation to make up for the shoddy work and the unfulfilled promises. My father-in-law had initially planned on using Precision to paint his house from top to bottom, but after our experience there's no way we could recommend them.

The painters and the work was excellent! I had several interior rooms painted and they look great! However, the customer service needs a serious overhaul. I had an issue arise and the company did compensate, but the manner in which the customer service manager and project manager handled my project could have been much better. Communication and manner needs to improve, but overall the work is excellent.

They were fast and excellent workers. They cleaned up beyond what I had expected. The outside of our home looks brand new. great staff.

Precision Painting Plus stained my cedar fence and did a great job. Their communication can use a little bit of work but overall it was a good experience and I would happily hire them again.

Decent painting on 4 very small jobs. Only real flaw was that the painters did not show on the day they promised but did come the next day.

The young men who painted were polite gentlemen that did a very good job. I appreciated that Jake the Project Manager understood exactly what I wanted. A company I would use again.

They came when they were not supposed to come with no advance notice. They never power washed the huge door and front of the area. They didn't even have any hose with them. They inconvenienced me and my tenant had to take off from work to move his vehicle and has asked me to replace his time lost at work and his extra costs of transportation to move his vehicles parked right by the door. The color also did not match. I was told it would take 2 men 3 days to complete this, when in fact only one man was ever there. The employee (painter) refused to speak with me when I showed up there after me having to leave work because of the problems. It is a bright red now instead of the correct color. I have never had such an awful company work for me ever! I was very overcharged for the work and did not come when scheduled. I have never spent so many hours going back and forth and waiting for them.

They seemed to have pulled it together and gotten the crew to the job.

Roger Gallegos, in charge of the project, checked in by phone and in person to make sure things were going ok and afterward. So did their main office. The team was on time, efficient and professional... and offered tips, as we were working on a smaller project ourselves simultaneously... saving us cost as well. We would recommend them... and have already.

I hired Precision Painting Plus for their excellent reviews. I needed to get my entire apartment painted and my floors repolished. Everyone from the team from Jason to Ian and finally to Joe were quite responsive and patient to my questions. They did a splendid job and finished everything in time for my move into the new apartment. I would definitely recommend them to others and even hire them again myself. This was a small job and a Tudor home. The field coordinator came out and gave hands on throughout the job. I was impressed by the level of customer service that was given. The work was phenomenal. I would always get painting work done by this company, if I needed work done in the future. This is a historic preservation home and one of the shutters was not properly attached and I was afraid it would fall and break on the concrete below and Jake Varnet came back out twice to make some adjustments to ensure the shutter was adequately secured.

The painting went well, but the clean up was a little sloppy. They had to come back to clean and reinstall shutters that were installed incorrectly. Overall i was satisfied with the experience and would recommend them.

Easy to work with and very pleasant

I've had Precision Painting Plus do my entire living room and dining room, as well as the upstairs hallway...so far. I was so pleased with the work, efficiency and price that I'm about to hire them to do my TV room and a couple of bedrooms. No complaints. Totally satisfied.
