Professional, knowledgeable, and on time. John returned my call within an hour and came out the same day to diagnose the problem. We needed a new wire run, replace a breaker, and replaced 2 outlets. Were here on time he stated -- personable - had done this pole lighting before & was going to more in big parking lot -- price was reasonable-- would hire again.

My dryer was not turning on and noticed that the fuse tripped off. Don’t want to try by ourselves and so called him for 90$ per hour. His guy came in and turned on the switch and was working fine(literally nothing else was done). I got help from him to change the GFCI outlet in my deck. The entire job was done in 40 minutes and he gave me 180$ bill after calling John. I was surprised with the 2 hour rate. When called John, he gave me some excuses that it’s inclusive of when he started from home etc but I knew that he had a work in my area and even including the travel time it was less than an hour. John had no option to bill 90$ for 40 minutes work.

I highly recommend John Burke Electric, did quality work, was very professional and reliable (the hardest thing to find in a contractor) and a fair honest tradesman. Moved some outlets away from water source, installed a GFI and Dryer outlet, looks great and you can immediately tell the quality of work in the job. 5 stars. If you need an electrician, look no further. I would (and will) use his services again.

I didn't have a complicated problem but Mr. Burke solved it immediately without making me feel like an idiot.

Had 2 ceiling fan/light fixtures removed and replaced plus they removed the fuse box for my clothes dryer and rewired it into the main breaker box which is where it should be. All this was done within 2 hours. Now I have my fans and dryer back after doing without for many years. I would hire them again if I had more work needed done.
