AIM Garage Doors

Aim did a great job installing my garage door opener. I purchased a direct drive garage door opener online from one of the big box chain hardware stores. The garage door opener I bought got great reviews online but wasn't an opener from one of the typical brands that Aim usually installs. So I was concerned that Ron and Lisa would have trouble installing it since they had never installed that brand or style before. Long story short, I think it probably took them a little longer to install it but they did a excellent professional job! I was very impressed. I would recommend Aim for any of your garage opener door installation needs. Thanks Ron and Lisa :-)

I was (and continue to be) very happy with Aim garage doors. I had originally bought the deal offered by Angie's List for them to come take a look at our inoperable garage door. But after explaining what had broken, and that to repair the springs would be much more than the deal I paid for, they took what I had originally paid and deducted it from what the cost was to fix the problem. So I was happy about that (and I knew what I had paid for would not cover the actual repair cost). Initially we had some scheduling conflicts (if I recall it was on both of our parts), but once they came out, they clearly explained what happened w/ the springs, how long the springs normally last with routine use, made all the necessary fixes, oiled and checked the rest of the system, and had departed within an hour and a half or so. They (husband and wife team) were extremely friendly and down to earth. It was clear that they were a true family-run business and I would overwhelmingly recommend them to anyone with a garage door issue.

From the initial contact, the follow-up was outstanding. I had the spring break the day before I left to go out of town, and contacted the company for an appointment while I was still in New England. I was contacted promptly, and offered an appointment at 8 AM the day after my return home. The work was done in a professional, timely, and very friendly manner. Lisa even taught me how to release the door manually in case of electrical outage, or other problem, so that I could still use my garage for my car. I was very blessed by this company's work, and would recommend them to everyone, small or large job. My door runs safely (most importantly), and hums smoothly and quietly each time I use it. Ron & Lisa came to the house as scheduled for a quote on a replacement garage door for my home. Only took about 15 mins. They provided me with 3 options. I already knew what color and what panels I wanted. Also had another quote from a different contractor. AIM was lower. A few weeks later Lisa called to schedule the installation. Ron came to the house on time & completed the work successfully. Very happy with both the price & quality of the work.

We have a two door garage and my husband's door was jerky and squeaky. My side wasn't acting bad, but thought both doors were probably overdue for maintenance. I purchased the deal from Angie's list and Aim Garage was quick and courteous with the response to set up the appointment. I believe it was a husband and wife team that met my husband that day to do the work. They completed the work with no trace that they were there other than the quiet and smooth doors I saw when I got home. In addition to purchasing the deal we did pay additional for parts/ services, but the charge was nominal and worth it. I would recommend them.

The work was performed in a very punctual and professional manner. The quality of the replacement rollers is superior to those originally installed by another contractor. They are much more quiet and smooth in operation. About a week after the job, we called AIM to report a minor problem with the door's sensor devices. Both Lisa and Ron came out to the house the same day to "trouble-shoot" and make some adjustments. The door now works perfectly! In my opinion, you won't find any more friendly, conscientious or professionally competent folks. Highly recommended

I spoke with Lisa when I called to make an appointment. She was very pleasant and scheduled a time to come and give an estimate. Lisa and her husband Ron showed up right on time for the appointment and were very knowledgeable and friendly. We wanted a new 2 car garage door installed with a new opener and the current opener moved to a single garage door on our shed. They explained everything clearly and I did not feel like they tried to sell me something I didn't need, actually they saved me money. Lisa sat and worked up and estimate on the spot. My husband and I were both impressed with them and thought the estimate was quite reasonable. We scheduled to have the work done right then. They came back the next week for the installation and everything went well. The final cost was exactly what they estimated the week before. I would highly recommend Aim Garage Doors. Pictures of the old and new doors are attached. You shouldn't have any trouble telling which is which.

I took advantage of their coupon deal. Lisa responded quickly to my request via Angie's List e'mail. We set an appointment, but I later realized I had a scheduling conflict. Lisa was able to reschedule without any problem. They arrived on time, the work was done quickly. Lisa and her husband are awesome, they did any awesome job! My two garage doors that have screeched, creaked and squealed for years, now quietly and smoothly glide up and down. Thank you guys! Thank you Angie!

Ron and Lisa replaced our garage door yesterday. I wish all companies were this easy to work with. They provided a great quote and did a great job on the install. I would recommend them to anyone. It was a great pleasure doing business with you.

The service was excellent. No problems whatsoever. The people who came out were courteous, knowledgeable and efficient. They didn't waste any time repairing the door and getting it working properly with the remote control. We would heartily recommend this company to anyone.

Lisa and Ron arrived promptly as scheduled and went to work in a very professional manner. They also advised me that the garage door springs were in need of replacement, but didn't try to sell me anything. Instead they said that springs were available at Home Depot, and that if I was handy I could do it myself (which I eventually did). I would recommend them to anyone.

I wasn't home to watch them work but things seem to have gone well. Time will tell how good the quality of the work is. Right now the door is working properly

It went very well; everything is fine. We had to postpone the schedule because I ended up fracturing my arm and had to have surgery. They were ready to come but I had to postpone it.

They were punctual, professional, and honest. They could have sold me a new door opener, which I thought I needed, for several hundred dollars. Instead, they replaced a broken trolley for $45 which corrected the problem I was having with the opener. My garage door now opens and closes smoothly, better than it has done for years. I will certainly call them for any garage door work I need in the future. I am a very happy customer!

Ron and Lisa were awesome! They showed up on time and assessed my slow lifting garage door. The were there to change the rollers, but turns out I needed a new motor to correct the problem.. They at no time tired to sell me any parts. I chose on my own to have them go ahead and change the motor. They provided excellent service. They even went beyond my expectations when they helped me change a outside lamp post light bulb. I asked them to use their ladder to change it myself, but the darn lamp required a screw driver just to take off the top! Lisa to the rescue. She and Ron stopped what they were doing and changed the bulb. Gives new meaning to the saying, " how many people does it take to change a ligt bulb." THANK YOU RON and LISA!!! The next time I need anything regarding my garage door I will definitely call AIM.

Did very good job and was very friendly. Made several suggestions about garage door which is over 20 years old.

Our garage door is quite old and we know we need to replace it but this will allow us to go a little longer. We'll definitely look to them when we're ready to put in the new door. Thanks

The guy who came out and did the work was very nice and polite. He had everything that he needed with him in the truck.

Went well until we were informed we owed an additional fee due to additional parts needed to install the keypad. Just wished we were informed before installing the additional parts that it couldn't be done unless we paid extra. Overall the service was worth the price paid. We would use them again.

They examined the garage door movement, opener, and all the mechanicals of balance and operation. This husband and wife team are very knowledgeable, personable and are filled with integrity. Because they had to change our appointment, and felt they had inconvenienced us, they didn't charge my mom for the service call. They are super people and we would absolutely recommend their services, as well as, call on them again when needed.

Great job, Had 3 delays due to weather but they called each time to confirm new date.

The doors I selected had to be ordered so there was a wait for them to be delivered. I was kept informed when the doors would be delivered and installed. They did a great job!! The new doors fit much better than the old ones. They used my old openers and 10 mo later everything is still working GREAT.
