I made several failed attempts to get an estimate for a kitchen pantry. Other contractors neither showed up as promised nor followed up on appointments they failed to keep. After leaving several telephone messages that were either ignored or followed by empty promises, I subscribed to Angie's List.
Since Hastings Home Improvement had a great review and is located near my home, I called them. I was impressed that a live voice answered the telephone. I spoke directly with the owner, Patrick Hastings. I explained my needs and scheduled an appointment.
Mr. Pat showed up as he had promised. He arrives for work on time and charges a fair price. Because of his craftsmanship, my project turned out better than I could have imagined. His expertise is unmatched, he lives up to his word, he makes cost-saving suggestions and his work is clean. I have already made plans to use Mr. Pat again for another home improvement. Thank you, Mr. Pat, for a job well done!

We were so happy with our new kitchen Pat installed in our home last year that I just used him again for all of my new office renovations. These renovations consisted of a total demo of a sf office follow by a ground up rebuild. Hastings handled Plans for the Township, Plumbing, Electrical, Drywall, Painting and tile work. From the start of the job Pat was always helpful in adding additional ideas to the original plan that made the project even better. Most of these ideas like building an in wall bookcase where all done with out adding additional cost to the original contract. Each day of the 2 week project Pat and his crew showed up on time and ready to work. (which with past contractors I have used was always a problem)
