He worked for 2 days not 4-5 and considered the job complete. But the water continued to sit without properly draining, the flashing was not fixed at all and refused to remove the birds nest as he promised. When we contacted him by email detailing our concerns, he refused to return to address and of them or even own that he had agreed to fix all for the exorbitant sum of $7500 (for a flat roof of a typically narrow Philadelphia Center City rowhouse.
Then 10 months later the roof began leaking into our Master bedroom on the 3rd floor. Since the repair was still covered under warranty, we called and emailed him again, several times and confirmed his phone # was correct and he read our email.
He did not respond to us at all.
As
far as our experience goes, Mr. Palmer is not only untrustworthy and definitely does not honor his comittments whether verbal or written (warranty means nothing). And, it appears he may also be incompetent since none of the problems we presented to him are resolved. We had a new roof install 10 years ago which held up until last year and cost $1500. His quote for a
new roof was almost 10 times that amount and the repair was a complete and total rip-off scam.
