Ed and John are well qualified and capable contractors. This is a small family business. They subcontracted the drywall, painting, HVAC, and wood finish work. The project was started and completed on schedule. The price of the work was fair. They were diligent in cleaning up at the end of every day. We had some disagreements along the way as to what we thought we were getting. There were several times when we thought they were coming to work and they didn't show up. And that resulted in my taking time off work for nothing. When they were finished, they left several marks on the walls and ceilings, which did not meet my standards. So I had to spackle and repaint everything. I also spent a considerable amount of time filling nail holes in the wood trim and paneling. I think they would have done a better job of finishing the work had they not taken on too many other projects. They seemed in a hurry to get to the next job. In the end, our basement looks great and is exactly the way we wanted it.
Description of Work: Finished 2 rooms (and stairway) in our basement.
