J and M Painting and Wallpapering

I had heard that they come in and don't stop just do the job accordingly. They quoted me 5 days to finish the job but were done in 4. They were so neat and clean during the time they were at my home. I was very impressed with the work they did. Everything was done so well I couldn't not recommend them. My neighbors since have even had them do work for them. He didn't charge me for different cutting/ changing colors in the room from wall to wall.

John and his helper arrived promptly when they said they would and set to work. They work quickly and accurately. They asked to use our vacuum cleaner and made use of it throughout the job. They vacuumed before they replaced furnilture they had moved. Everything was covered with drop cloths before they started to paint a room. If having the job done again, I would remove wall switch plates, etc., and any other hardware because they did not do that (but I don't think too many painters to that today). That would be about our only complaint. They did patch cracks in the plaster before painting, including one rather bad spot we had high up on the kitchen wall from a roof leak we had.

Everything looked great and couldn't have gone any smoother. I did have one problem with paint on the screens. John tried to fix it, but to no avail. He came back to the house to repair only two of the screens (actually replaced the screening), but all the screens had paint on them. He said he only agreed to the one's we spoke about. We did go around the porch with him and found paint running on all of the screens. I was disappointed as we have used John's services for a long time. I'm not sure I'd recommend him for exterior painting, especially if there are screens involved.

After a fire in our original home, we decided to re-build. Almost 1 year later, when all the other contractors were done and waiting for our township to sign off...we had only 1 week to coordinate getting the interior painted. One call to Jand M was all it took. We were met with color samples and within only a few days our painting had started and finished. John and Irene worked over a above to get this job done for us in time for us to move back into our home. John made the process smooth and easy!!!

I was thoroughly satisfied. John and his helper worked effortlessly in completing the job. It only took 2 half days (the primer needed to dry and the spackling they did needed to dry completely overnight). When he came back, he painted the entire room (which isn't large) in about 4 hours. I am so happy with his service and I will continue to use him as my professional painter. Great guy and recommend him to everyone.

Excellent work. John had one helper with him. They were both meticulous and very professional. Good sense of humor and went above and beyond. I am definitely going to use John again. I have a phone call in to him today for an estimate. Oh, by the way, he gives you an estimate when he comes to see the job, which I like. No hidden costs.
