Techs did a good job unmounting and remounting the TV, apparently used flaky components to repair. Maybe didn't do diagnostics on the logic board.

Excellent work. The machine now works like new. However, the cost of repair was high but if you buy a new machine the cost is comparable and the new machines have no receiver.

My flat screen TV died on me about six months ago. I didn't realize when I bought it that it was a two year model that was on close out. So the model of the TV I have is like six years old. They no longer make the TV anymore and I called this company called Andalusia TV INC. They come out and pick up the TV and take it to their shop and they fix it and bring it back. I was there six months ago. I thought the price was reasonable for a six year old TV that costs many times that. Their repair does not seem to have been completely successful, the TV is acting up occasionally. They must have used a reconditioned since they no longer make these TV's anymore and so the logic board is showing the same kinds of problems that the original one was doing before the TV eventually failed so I expect the TV to fail again sometime in the next year and if it happens before, they warranty their service for a year which is very commendable on their part, but if it fails before a year they will repair my TV again for free. I'm kind of expecting that to happen. I thought the price was quite reasonable. The repair wasn't completely successful. Their responsiveness was very good. I called them, they came by within a few days, the TV is heavy, it weighs at least a hundred pounds. It's good that they pick up and deliver. The punctuality was good. I didn't get to speak to the technicians directly. I don't know if the people that showed up at my house were the technicians or if they were there to just pick up TV's. When I called and talked to the receptionist she had no clue about how TV repair works and she was very combative. When I called her to complain that the repair wasn't completely successful she kind of tried to argue with me, well that's what TV's do, and that's not the way it works. Hopefully this was just a matter of bad luck, I mean, I use to work in the computer field I know that computers have problems but I also know they have self diagnostic and that whenever you do a repair you do a burn in, you let the TV stay on, or the computer, or whatever it is you let it stay on for like 24 hours and see if you have any problems. I don't know whether they did that or not but that is standard practice. I don't know if they did it long enough to find the hardware glitch.

It was costly. Said I needed another mother board. Waited a long time for tv to be repaired. Follow up calls all thru would have been nice. I think I got one. Waited over a month while they ordered the part. Nice enough folks I guess. Promised me they would hook everything back but didn't happen. Two young boys came out to pickup and reinstall the tv. they didn't know much about tv repair or hooking up devices that were connected before. I appreciate them picking up and returning the tv which would have been a hassle for me to do as it is a 50" set.

I did not pay for this service because my TV was under a 5 year warranty, so I can not evaluate pricing. I found the people I dealt with to be friendly and knowledgeable. The woman who scheduled the work order was very accommodating and accessible. When the service men arrived, they listened carefully to my concerns and immediately focused on the problem with the audio vibrating on certain tones. My TV needed to be taken to the shop to be worked on and a part needed to be ordered. It did take them over a week to resolve the problem, but they explained to me that they needed permission for the part from the warranty company. Once they brought the TV back it was immediately obvious that the problem had been solved. Even so, they told me to contact them if I noticed anymore issues. I would definitely use them again.

Not too bad. Because of the age of the technology, had it been much
more I wouldn't have gotten the repair. (It was a good machine I
wanted to keep). I shipped them my item via UPS with the required
small deposit. I had to call to confirm they had the package
due to address errors. They called about three days later and gave me
the repair cost and I gave them the go ahead (the deposit was deducted
from the total). The item was returned complementally via UPS in about a week with a 90-day
warranty. The total experience was about 15 days tops. I'm glad
somebody good and reliable is still in electronics repair!

I had in an old VCR that was not working. I searched AngiesList.com for TV repair shops in the area. Andalusia TV and VCR was on the list of businesses on the results page. I checked with Andalusia TV's website for any additional info. Later that day I brought the VCR there to see if they could repair it, which they did, and in very reasonable time. They got back to me promptly, gave me an estimate and within days had the job finished. There was a 10% discount coupon on their website, which I printed out and brought with me. It helped lower which seemed to be slightly high yet reasonable estimate and repair costs.
