Daly Termite & Pest Management

For a few weeks we had heard sounds intermittently that sounded like some sort of small creature had taken up residence between two walls. Mr. Daly came promptly and inspected the outside of our home, as well as inside the garage and attic, to see if there were any obvious openings where the animal was entering. As no openings were visible, he suggested making 4 very small holes in our dining room ceiling to inject a poison that the animal would walk over and eventually ingest. It worked and we have heard no more from our creature. The holes are also small enough to spackle over. He also treated the area over our kitchen sink, where ants were entering, and we have not seen any ants since.

Called and had an appointment in 2 days. Had the option for an early monrning appointment. Mr. Daly was right on time and extremely professional. He listened to my concerns and went right to work investigating the problem. I never felt like he was in a hurry to get to his next appointment. He answered all of my questions and reviewed all work performed. I felt like his prices were very reasonable. Great overall experience.

This is a fantastic company! Joe was on time, so incredibly helpful, and friendly. We were very pleased with his knowledge and the time he took to answer all of our questions. He gave us some good tips on stopping mice from entering the wall between our row house and the neighbor. Because he didn't use any of his equipment, he didn't charge us for his time, which was incredibly generous of him. If we have a problem going forward or see any mice getting into our house, I will certainly call Daly Pest again.

I was shocked and freaked out to see a mouse in my house! I called and they responded immediately, thankfully! They walked my entire house and were very thorough, gave me some tips, set a few traps and told me what to do. Listen- I was prepared to do whatever I had to do and enter a long term contract but they told me it wasn't necessary. They could have easily just taken my money so the honesty was refreshing. Highly recommend, I will absolutely use them again though I'm hoping I never have to!

Fantastic! Really impressed with these guys...did a great job! They were prompt, professional, and in my opinion...good honest people. I already recommended them to a co-worker and would gladly do business with them again. Best part is they didn't try and rope me into a contract. I am very very satisfied with the work they performed. Definitely use these guys, they're great!

As with our previous experiences with Daly they came to our rescue pronto! Our problem this time was with ants outside undermining our patio pavers. Due to conflicting schedules they ended up coming on their own when we weren't home and took care of the problem the first time. They eventually sent an invoice which we promptly pain but it is clear they are more focused on the services they provide then on just getting paid. We will use them over and over as needed!

They were phenomenal. I liked their professionalism and expertise. There is not anything I can say bad about this company. We are extraordinarily happy and as matter of fact we even referred the business to our next door neighbor. I would use them again.

I called Jim, and scheduled a time for Saturday. I decided to go over the rental property 1/2 hour earlier and he was there already at 1200 when the appt was for 12:30. that was Already a plus in my book. We have a problem with noises in the walls. Jim inspected the house inside and out and found a small crack near the roof that mice can enter. He proceeded to set all traps on 1st and 2nd flr. Also explained to each of the tenants where he would be positioning the traps and and to check them in a week. With all the reviews of Angies list that I read , he deserves AAA . He took his time and was in no rush . Our previous exterminator was in and out in 20 minutes. If you have a pest problem He is the man to call. Also he is very nice to speak with. He deserves the 2012 Award.

Excellent! Highly recommended! We had already done a termite inspection when we bought the house and we mentioned that to Daly Termite. Jim came anyway to check the house and address the right treatment for free. His inspection was very carefully done, much better than the previous inspector (that was paid). He proposed a treatment and estimated a cost on site. He explained to me the type of chemical he was going to use and the how he was going to apply it. I have a one year old baby and I was concerned about the chemicals but he reassure me regarding the 'safety' of the treatment. He looked very professional at our first meeting. I received other estimates for the treatment and Jim's estimate was far more expensive then the others. I called them all trying to understand why there was such a big difference and from my very basic search and understanding I have noticed the following: - Jim was going to perform a Non-Repellent treatment, that to me it seems to be the best and most durable compared to other Repellent treatments we were suggested to do and we were considering. - Jim uses a chemical that appears to be more effective and reliable then others secondary brands. - Jim was going to treat some extra areas, drilling some holes in the concrete and repairing the damages. I discussed the difference in price with Daly Termite and, even if they were still the most expensive, they give me a discount. We decided to appoint Daly Termite despite the higher price because we felt they were more professional. We booked a treatment within two weeks (we were not in rush). They call the day before the treatment to remind our appointment. They came on time and did the job within the agreed timing. Jim noticed few more areas he wanted to treat and that was free of charge. Jim also looked at a groundhog hole that was in the area of the termite treatment and filled it with soil and ensure us that was not an issue. Other termite inspectors suggested us to contact other pest control professional to take care of the matter (average to have them to come and see 200$) without even check or realize there was no animal there. Jim took a very good care of our house and our problem. He was clear in explaining the procedure, nice and affable. He also have the most funniest business card ever!!!!!! Excellent professional, person and service!

As always it was terrific. Jim sets up appts and he has always been on time. Once he was running late and he had his wife call me. Some times he is even early. I have not seen any mice since I started using his service. I do not know if anyone else would be cheaper, but I do not want the mice to come back because I went with a cheaper service and they cut corners. My house is on a stone foundation and a crawl space so there are lots of places for the critters to get in.

I was very pleased with the service I received. I was especially impressed with Mr. Daly's honesty. I had several estimates for termite extermination services and he was the only person who said I did not have any active termites in the house as far as he could see. His pricing was fair and the job was very satisfactory. I would definitely use his company again.

A fter experiencing a very bad odor in our basement for over a week and removing ductwork and insulation to find the source, we had no success. We felt it was a dead animal. We finally decided we needed professional help and called Mr. Daly because of his Angie's list rating. He was not immediately available and recommended another company. However, the other company was not available either, so we called Mr. Daly back and asked him to come out when he was available. He arrived on the day and time he said and after only a few minutes found the critter and removed it. It was a dead fox underneath our deck. Even though we had removed boards on the deck ourselves and searched the area, we did not see it but because this is what he does, Mr. Daly found it immediately. He was very courteous and told us what to do to eliminate the lingering odor but it was greatly abated merely by removing the animal. We highly recommend him. He is very professional and effective.

On Friday, 11/2/12, I called Daly and explained my problem of animal sounds in wall. The receptionist said she could send someone on Monday or Tuesday, but when I expressed concerns about waiting that long, she said she'd try to have someone out on Sat. She called back and said Jim would squeeze me in and could come at 8 AM, which he did. He evaluated the situation and gave us suggestions on how to set traps and where to set them. He said that because we were already doing so (my husband had set a few traps for mice) there was no need for him to do so. When I asked him for his charges, he said he wasn't going to charge us anything! He gave me his "card"...flyswatter with info...and I will definitely give his name out to anyone who asks!

Very impressed with this company. Their bid was 1/10 the cost of the highest bidder. Very professional and knowledgeable. Showed up 1/2 hour BEFORE scheduled.

It was a warm April afternoon. A swarm of flying insects outside the kitchen window was amazing. But...I knew what it meant. Termites. Sure enough Jim Daly confirmed my suspicion. He arrived, inspected and suggested the "wait and see method." Not the "you must have this done now!" method. Don't get me wrong, Termites=really bad news, but I have also had the experience with other pest control companies where they want to sell you services...period. After Jim's inspection, I told him, about the treatment we had done a number of years ago. With all that information he was able to tell me to wait before rushing into more treatment. He said there wasn't any evidence that the termites were in the house and it was likely that the barrier treatment we had applied years ago was still in effect. He cautioned to be vigilant and have an inspection done every 6 months to a year. I so appreciated this common sense approach. I will call him back again to inspect and if need be provide the appropriate service.

Jim Daly was very informative, professional and couteous. He and his assistant drilled holes in garage floor, front step, back slab and trenched around the home. Termidor was applied in the holes and in trenches. Guaranteed to eradicate the termites. Temintes invaded the garage by eating the wooden molding and the wooden steps

I can see why they get an A rating and have over 80 positive reviews here on this site. I must first say I am a very hard person to impress. I expect as close as you can get to perfection. Everything started great when I called to make an appointment. The woman I spoke with was very friendly and professional. The technician came a couple hours later and spent time with me explaining what was going on and the plan to fix my problem. All around it was a great experience. This is how it should be when dealing with a company. I will definitely use them again.

There were many more squirrels than we anticipated - but Mr. Daly stuck to his original estimate. He was pleasant to work with. The people answering his phones were also pleasant. We were so pleased with his work we asked for help with mouse traps. That problem has also been eliminated. We would definitely use him again. Even the roofer asked for his information.

They were booked but worked me into the schedule. Joe came out and sprayed the inside of my 1st floor, my garage and outside. Also put down some bait for the ants to take back to the nest. Explained everything really well. Very thorough..

Before I moved into my home five years ago, the previous owners performed a termite treatment based on the findings in my home inspection. I was starting to see the signs that the termites had returned, so I called Daly Termite. They got me scheduled for an inspection right away. When Jim showed up, I took him to where the previous damage was, and showed him where I thought the new trouble areas were. He (a) told me that they were not new termites that I was seeing, (b) verified that the previous infestation was gone, (c) took a look at the previous report and explained the treatment that had been done, (d) answered all my questions. He declined payment for his time, even when I insisted that his information had great value to me. When I need an exterminator, this is my guy. PS, He's got the coolest business card.

I called on a Saturday morning on a holiday weekend, at 9:30am, regarding a hornets nest in my roof. By 10:30 the truck was in my driveway, and by 11:00 the work was done and the wasps (European Wasps... big suckers) were gone. I was MORE than impressed by the quality of the service, the incredibly fast response, and the professionalism of the young man who provided the remediation. He even showed me a book with information about the wasps. The price was fair; the service was all you could ask for. I'd use them again anytime, and recommend them highly.

Joe arrived on time and I was immediately impressed that he knew my first name. Joe fully explained exactly what he was going to do before starting the job. He was able to take care of the issue quickly and efficiently.

Everything went smooth as clockwork! Jim's wife called me within a couple hours of receiving my phone message regarding our potential termite problem. Jim came out to inspect our home 2 days later and treated our home 2 weeks later. This is how business should be done in America! Jim obviously takes great pride in customer satisfaction!

I found Daly Termite & Pest mgmt. on Angie's List and gave them a call. After spotting a single bug (maybe a little extreme, but for me, necessary) in one of the bedrooms in our house, as well as a crew of maggots around our trash cans in the garage, I figured I'd get someone out to check around a bit. We've also only lived in our home about 8 months, and heard the previous owners used an exterminator regularly, but weren't sure why. The woman I spoke to on the phone was extremely friendly and accommodating. I wasn't sure they'd make the trip all the way to Northeast Philly, but it wasn't a problem, whatsoever. When Daly came out and checked around the house he commented how our place was really clean and these things sometimes happen, regardless of cleanliness. Daly and the guy that accompanied him were extremely professional, friendly and all around pleasant. I would absolutely recommend Daly to others, and would use them again if I had to. Lastly, when I told him I found him through Angie's List & that he had some really impressive reviews, he commented that he had some really great customers. All around I am really impressed!
