I contacted John about a project I wanted done in my house. I was to get a bathroom remodel totally gutted and redone. Also finish my living room ceiling and install lighting and a ceiling fan. He told me this would take approximately two weeks. In total before I had to fire him it had already taken 5 weeks without him finishing. He lied the whole time about what would be done everyday. He kept pushing the date back week by week. Sometimes he would only show up to my house for 2 to 3 hours at a time. By the fourth week I had to confront him and ask him again when he would be finished he promised me a week later or less. The following leak I asked him again he told me it would be a few more days. The day I fired him was exactly 5 and a half weeks since the beginning of the project that was promised in two and a half weeks. He destroyed my carpets without asking there was unfinished work that I had to correct myself including cutting a hole in my brand new wall to move a light fixture so my vanity mirror would not hit my spicket on my sink or the light fixture itself. There are cracks and screw Pops in my brand new drywall and ceiling that he installed. My brand new toilet and Plumbing is now leaking around the base of the toilet. There are gaps in my recessed lighting on the ceiling. Recently I found a chip in my brand new tub that he tried to cover up with an off-white patching that is now peeling off. Doing the 5 and a half weeks he drank approximately 7 cases of bottled water. Did not clean up at the end of the day. Dumped all Wastewater, spackle and paint water into my yard. Several packs of cigarette butts are all over the front of my house. Never once put down a drop cloth or tried to keep dust out of other parts of my house. Countless other small things he did throughout the whole process. I'm sure I will find more things wrong with my house as time goes on. I would not recommend John for painting or any other project you have for your home. Very unprofessional. Mike S.
