I am new to the area and one of the most challenging things for me is to find a auto repair facility that I can trust and rely on for my vehicle's needs.Cindy and the guys at Quality were great and i feel lucky that I was able to find them through Angie list first try. I'll be back and feel comfortable recommending them to others and that's not something I do easily.

Quality Plus Auto Repair and Mufflers are very helpful, friendly, courteous, kind and all that. That's why we keep going back there, because we feel good about them. They're very upfront about what needs to be done and they're concerned about making sure that we get the right work done.

I called with my dilemma and they were able to get my vehicle right in and it all took an hour. The previous night I was in Dallas and my muffler fell off my vehicle. It has a lowered floor because of a wheelchair lift and so requires special equipment. The also told me of a leak that the car dealership had detected but were unable to pinpoint where the leak was coming from. The dealership had to have the van for at least a day and I was going to have to wait for them to determine how long it was going to take to find a muffler for it. Quality Plus has the special ramp for the lowered floor lifts and they had the muffler in stock. So I am sure it would have cost me at least another $100.00 in cost for them to do the same work. Due to numerous doctors appts Quality Plus understood my situation and was able to accommodate my schedule.

I was very happy with the service. I called, described the problem I was having, and was told to bring it on in for an estimate the same day. This was critical because I was getting ready to leave for a long trip (8 hour drive). They rang me back and confirmed that it was the started (which I already knew) and said we can do it tomorrow. Which they did. Ready to go by the end of the day. That is good service.

I've done this job on other vehicles in the past - very easy - but with 2007 RAV4 actually have to jack up engine to change (what a pitiful design). The people at Quality Plus did a great, efficient and well-priced job.

They were courteous and helpful and finished all the work as requested.

They are fabulous! They do quality work and they don't overcharge. It's a woman owned and run shop so it's friendly to the female clientele. She's good at explaining things in a way you can understand it.

If you take your car in there, it will be fixed and stay fixed. If the repair didn't work I've been able to take it back and they fixed it at no additional cost.

I've taken both of our vehicles to Quality Auto, but when they wanted to perform work that didn't need to be done, I started to shop around. Their work is good, but I can't afford to keep guessing and wondering if I'm paying for things I don't need. In retrospect, I should have questioned Cindy about the statement from the mechanic (regarding the need for a new battery). Based on the good experience I have had with Quality Plus Auto, it would have been wise to take this directly to the boss first and clear up any misunderstanding.

Great people to work with. They speak 'customer' and not 'mechanic'. Excellant communicaters. We continue to take all our auto repair issues to this place.

I have a 1988 Ford full size Bronco 4x4 with nearly 200,000 miles on it. While having a standard lube, oil, filter, replacement, I asked for a full inspection to determine what type of mechanical work needed done on the vehicle. They provided me with a list of items that needed attention or corrective action. I was able to speak directly with the mechanic who performed the vehicle inspection, and together we prioritized items listed that were deemed more urgent that were potentially safety related concerns. Quality Plus performed the service on my vehicle and even fixed an item instead of replacing it, which saved me money. There is still work that needs to be completed, however the other items can wait to be fixed on an as needed basis.Cindy was very professional, courteous, and friendly throughout the entire process. The Quality Plus staff treated me with respect, taking the time to explain things to my satisfaction. I have dealt with some other service providers in Salem that have treated me indifferently and did not exhibit the amount of respect that Quality Plus staff have demonstrated. I listed the quality portion of the survey as good only because I am not a mechanic and results take time to measure. I plan on continuing to do business with Quality Plus.

When I purchased my 2012 Nissan Versa, I looked for a auto repair shop that I could trust to do the maintenance my car needed and any repairs. After inquiring around at different shops, I settled on Quality Auto Repair. I am very glad I did. They do quality work, very reasonably priced, and Cindy, the owner, is very knowledgible and thorough, making sure you are satisfied with your estimate and the work to be done, before the work starts.

We were VERY happy with the service we recieved at Quality Plus! Cindy was super nice and personable, rates were very reasonable, and the job was done well and as quickly as could be expected for what needed to be done. Plus with our Angie's List coupon we got a 10% first-timer discount! YAY!! It's nice to find a place we can trust that does good work and doesn't jack up the prices or try to add on a bunch of services and fees that aren't even necessary, which it seems like most places do these days. We will be going there for all our repairs from now on - when we find a good thing we stick with it! Thanks Cindy! :)

I was in need of an auto mechanic that I could trust. This is a difficult thing to find. I had used Jiffy Lube for an oil change and had a belt replaced that was due for changing. Following that, the car made high-pitched squealing sounds when starting and sometimes turning. I took it back into Jiffy Lube and they readjusted it. I still had the problem so the replacement there created an issue that I didn't have before with the old belt. I decided to search Angies List for auto mechanic reviews in the area. I saw Quality Plus was rated high and contacted them. I had a return call from the owner promptly who said she could fit me in right away (in the next 1-2 days) to address the problem with my belt. I also mentioned I wanted an overall car inspection to make sure everything was okay.
They ended up replacing a different belt that had been moved when Jiffy Lube had replaced the initial one. Both belts had likely needed replacing but only one had and the one that was not replaced had been moved to access the other so it had not been fitted back on correctly. So I got the second belt replaced and they adjusted the belt from Jiffy Lube for free. Additionally, they also did a full auto inspection and reviewed some items that may need upcoming maintenance repairs. What I really appreciated is that they helped me prioritize the items (ie-this would help performance, but this one would be for a safety need so higher priority) they also gave me an idea of when to expect this without making me feel pressured to do so. None of the items were urgent, just some coming up in the near future. I got a clean record of health for my car overall. The part replacement, labor, adjustment of the other belt, and inspection were $108 very reasonable!

Later on, I got a handwritten note from the owner thanking me for using their services and a 10% coupon to use for future services with them. I was very pleased with my first experience here and the personal touch they put on our interactions. I plan to go back to them and if the experiences continue the same as this first one I will definitely be a long-term customer and recommend to others. A great experience overall!!

Well. Estimate was accurate and repair finished on time. Polite and informative on the phone. THey let me know about a few other potential problems, but were not pushy. Thanks!

Cindy is great to deal with - she made sure I was kept informed of where they were and when to expect the car to be finished. She explained what parts came from the dealer and what were 'generic' and why they were chosen. She also explained the additive used with the oil change and how it will decrease the tick, tick, tick (it has) and also advised there may be belt squeal after they are in use and to be sure and drop by for adjustment, if needed (it wasn't).I felt they were very thorough in their exam of the car and didn't suggest anything that didn't need to be done.
I also feel their pricing is very reasonable. My husband had checked the cost of belts and water pumps and weighed what he could do and couldn't do against the cost of having Quality do it. He felt their charge was well worth him not having to deal with replacing all of the belts except the timing belt.
In addition, Cindy had sent me a 10% discount coupon after they had done work on my husband's 1998 Ranger (his review to follow soon). Every little bit helps these days.
Quality Plus is my 'go to' place now. Any professional repair/maintenance needed in the future will be done by them.

Great, great experince.
I first went in for the timing belt replacement based on mfg recommendations. My initial phone call Cindy explained what they do and why, what they replace and why, etc.
I was able to get into the shop less than a week from my initial call. They even offered to take me to work in the a.m. -- like wow!
She called me prior to starting the work, and outlined a few other things that I might consider having done, and explained the why's of such.
I felt very comfortable through the whole process; finding a mechanic and/or shop that is honest and provides good service is one of those challenges for me; I don't really know a whole lot about cars, nor do I care too! I have found a auto repair shop in Salem --- Wahoo!
The shop was very clean, the service was excellent and I will certainly be going back there again for any other automotive needs. I have already started to recommend this shop to friends and co-workers.

They do everything I need then to do. They give me discounts. They are very knowledgeable mechanics and are very familiar with multiple types of cars. They are able to show me any problems with my car and do walk throughs. The owner makes sure her workers are highly qualified. They are very good with the human relation aspect of business. They keep you informed about future work that may need to be done. The workers and business itself is very straight forward.

They are women and men friendly.

I do call and make an appointment and I am usually able to get work done in a day or two. It is very close to downtow and a park.

Their prices are middle of the pack, but what you are getting from their service is worth it.

The office was ready for my appointment. I wasn't prepared to leave the truck all day. The job should only take two hours. I explained my need and Cindy said they would do their best to have it ready. I offered to bring it back tomorrow, Cindy asked me to leave the truck because I was already there. Cindy called me two and a half hours later. The truck was ready! I was surprised and pleased. The job was less than the original quote. Cindy is a professional. The other contact was also conducted in a professional manner. The office is clean and well-maintained. The automotive artifacts, tools and signs create the appropriate ambiance for their business. I will call on this business again.

In the past I have had many mechanics which charged more than what I believe the job was worth. In addition there was times when I did not feel the work was done very well. I have also had issues with mechanics not being honest and up front regarding issues which has caused my interaction with mechanics to be less than pleasant.
Quality plus was absolutely amazing. When they called me back with their findings they also provided multiple solutions with multiple price tags associated to them. I was able to pick the level of service that I felt the car needed or that I could afford. I was consistently kept up to date and the work was very timely. Cindy did an outstanding job taking care of the customer.

Did a superb job. Internet check stated that, because of a very stupid engineering design, the engine needed to be lifted to replace water pump and that job may cost $1000. Quality Plus did the job radically cheaper with factory parts and with excellent results. Very, very pleased.
