Replaced for free on two freezers

It went well. He obviously knows his business and did an excellent job.

He personally took my call, we set up a time for that same day. It ended up he could be in my area even earlier, so he called to see if he could stop by sooner. It was, so he showed up at the earlier time as agreed. He fixed the dryer latch right then and there and adjusted a hinge so that the latch wouldn't break in the future.He fixed a couple other small things. When it was time to settle up, he gave me a couple dollar discount since I couldn't find change. He only took cash or check, and I hardly ever write checks, so I didn't have one on me. That was the only "disadvantage" but not a big deal. I understand how expensive it can be for a small business to take credit cards. He then took my filtered water faucet with him so that he could replace the washer, and then he brought it back when he was back out in my area--I had told him there was no hurry, since I hadn't had use of the thing for a long, long time. So he did that for no charge!

The handyman was prompt and courteous. He knew exactly what to do, identified a missing small piece that was quicky obtained from the local hardware store, and quickly finished the job in a very confined work space. He made sure the dispenser functioned properly before leaving. He took much less time to complete the work than was estimated in the installation pamphlet. His fee was substantially less than what I would have paid the business recommended by the store where I purchased the dispenser.
