Returned calls and emails promptly. Very professional and friendly. Explained process clearly. Prompt, professional and courteous. Job started and finished on time. Cost exactly what the estimate was, even put extra plates in garage without charge. No permit/inspection available in neighborhood so no outside feedback, but very positive experience. I would use them again.

Overall it went well for us. There were some issues, but the quality of work was good. They were good people.

Tom, as usual, went out of his way to work with me to get best pricing on his work and on the materials I needed. He showed ingenuity in putting in a much desired laundry chute. He always shows respect for my space, and stays in touch. When something wasn't quite where I wanted it to, and I needed it changed in time for an early AM counter measurement, he was there at 6am to make it right. I would use Tom/Sundance Construction for any work I needed done in my home, and trust the people he works with as well.

He was very creative and had a lot of ideas, but I thought he was a little out of my league in terms of what I felt that I could afford and what I wanted done to my home. I am done with work that I need around the house, so I have no need to contact him in the future.

During the bidding process, SundanceOregon was the most responsive and had the most detailed bid. On the first day of the project, they had all four subcontractors and SundanceOregon working on the project including heavy equipment. We were impressed to see that SundanceOregon does much of their own work because they are highly skilled contractors. During the next four months of the project there was work done on the house everyday, including Saturdays. SundanceOregon planned well to minimize the amount of time we were required to vacate the house during the plumbing and hvac upgrades. The project included moving the basement stairs which was a complex engineering feat that was well executed because of the coordination between SundanceOregon and the structural engineers. We selected tile for the stairs that was difficult to place and the stairs look amazing. Sundance-Oregon built a custom designed covered pergola and installed it over our deck, connected to our roof. The pergola is very unique and was complex to build and SundanceOregon installed it correctly, including the clear roof for the pergola. As we neared completion of the project, SundanceOregon returned on numerous occassions to review the punch list and ensure that all of the details were taken care of. We enjoyed working with the contractors and would highly recommend them for any large or small home remodeling project.

Things always go very well. His response was very prompt in view of the weather!! I was able to use water in very short order. I highly recommend Robert if you want the job done correctly and promptly the first time. I've never had to call Robert back for something that was "missed". He has worked for me for many years overall. I know you can call him and get what you want/need done quickly and promptly within budget. His estimates are always clear which is something I appreciate on my limited budget.

They came as quickly as they could. They looked at the job and let me know what they would have to do and the came the next day. They were quick and courteous and got the job done. They also came back when I have needed them to.

We decided to do a complete remodel on our basement which included a bedroom, bathroom, laundry, mechanical room & hobby space. We also wanted to install a brand new furnace, water heater and A/C as well - but we had a tiny budget considering the work needed. We initially met with Tom to discuss the project and get the bid & then met his partner, Robert to nail down details. We took an immediate liking to both of them. They never made us feel bad that we didn't have endless cash reserves and were more than willing to work with us to make the budget stretch as far as possible. We handled a large bit of the demo ourselves (to save $) and worked out a flexible schedule with Tom & Robert. Work overall went well and the crew and sub-contractors were all very nice & professional (with the exception of an eccentric drywall finisher). Things were done on time and on budget. The times we did go over budget were due to unforeseen findings and added expense was approved by us before anything further was done. We ended up with a beautiful master suite (with walk-in closet), new larger bathroom (with spa tub, separate shower and double sink vanity), new energy efficient furnace, water heater & A/C, good size laundry room and a great hobby/office space. All of it much brighter, cleaner and more functional than before. It's a completely different space. *(And a special thank you to Rudy for the gorgeous tile work in the bathroom - you made simple porcelain tile into art -- you're a rock star!)* We honestly have to say that our experience with Sundance was completely positive! Tom, Robert and their crew are fantastic and we would hire them again - no doubt. They were willing to work with our laughably small budget and offered great suggestions on how to make it stretch even farther. The work was excellent and done in a timely manner.

I can't rave enough about the professionalism, hard work and integrity of these guys. It seems that I always need them on a moment's notice and they always come through for me. From window latches to jacking up and rebuilding an engineered porch, they can handle any range of construction work. Their experience also results in ideas and perspectives for fixes that I hadn't thought of, so you won't get just an extra set of hands, you get professionals thinking collaboratively with you about the best way to get things done. Tom regularly applied insight and knowledge to improve my project, from code compliance for den vs storage rooms to beam size and insulation values, he was always helping to fill in any gaps I was missing. Solid, earnest and straightforward, these are men who will get any job done in a thorough, no-nonsense way.

I have nothing but good things to say about them. They were communicative and were great at showing me what needed to be done. They were good people overall. I would recommend them.

Tom and his partner Robert, and their crew, went WAY out of their way on numerous occasions. Superior and classy work is clearly the standard they base their work upon. There's no question that we'll be working together again on future renovations. The subs that Sundance contracted also demonstrated the same high work ethic. In order to get the work done prior to the holidays, Tom, crew, and sub contractors worked many late nights and weekends. I felt everyone involved really respected my home. They brought up good suggestions, and all "add ons" made sense. The team also stood up for me when an unassociated subcontractor did substandard work, and "cleaned up" after them (again, Sundance went way above and beyond. . . ). Attention to detail is superior, like changing existing pier footings so walls would be flush(work done after hours on a Friday night, no less). I can't recommend Sundance Construction highly enough.

When I first called Tom Larson came out and gave a bid which was quite reasonable for the job. I knew I had to wait until he had a break in his schedule. I was patient and so was he when I had to put off the start date an extra week as I was having an estate sale. Tom sent one of his subs to do the job and it was a long difficult process. Unfortunately his sub didn't have experience with manufactured homes but he did his best and kept a good attitude. The job took a long time but since it was a bid job I was more patient than had it been hourly. Finally Tom came out on the weekend and put the finishing touches on the job and it was over. The vents look really nice and keeps the circulation flowing under the house. The metal replacement as well as removal of the dryrot is a great improvement. I am not going under my house to look at the dryrot replacement but will assume that all is well. I have no reason to think otherwise and am confident that if anything was wrong Tom would fix it.

The work was done in a professional and timely manner and was within the estimate. Communication was excellent and Robert showed up when he said he would. He also informed me of a bee's nest previously unknown under the house and took photos of the water damage to the joists so I have documentation for recourse from the inspector who didn't find it when we purchased the house a few months ago. I am extremely happy with the results and feel the cost was very fair. I would highly recommend this company.

Excellent. Everything was done as needed. The damaged door and was handled as the emergency it was. The handrail on the deck was very well done with the correct lumber. No piecing. I found Tom through another Angie's List service. They did my insulation.
