They were fabulous. I would recommend them. The gentleman was in and out. He took an hour for both pieces of work. It was an extremely fair price. He was prompt. He was great.
Description of Work: They replaced glass on my cupboard and replaced a back door.

When we placed our order, it was agreed that we would pay for the windows up front and for all labor and other costs when the work was completed. Gabriel and his worker arrived on time, but a half hour later, Gabriel took a cellphone call and I overheard him tell the caller that he had a new worker who didn't know what he was doing. He said he would get him started and then come over and give a bid. He left a short time later. My husband has the skills to install windows, but had not wanted to get involved. When Gabriel didn't come back, it became apparent that Gabriel's worker needed both training and some assistance, my husband went out to help him. Four and a half hours later, Gabriel finally showed up. Later that day, Gabriel told us he needed $300 in order to buy some supplies to finish the job. He also said he wanted it either in cash or by personal check made out to him and not to his business name. We were not about to give him cash, and we reminded him of our agreed-upon terms and suggested that he use his business VISA card to buy the supplies that he needed. After much arguing, we agreed to give Gabriel a CHECK for $300 made out to his business, but we required a receipt. We also told him that he would not be getting any more money until the job was done. The job was supposed to take 1-2 days, but it ended up taking a week because Gabriel was off giving estimates. My husband finally told Gabriel that he didn't mind if he took calls from his wife or kids, but he thought that he needed to let his phone go to voice mail so that he could stay on the job to finish the installation. When it came time to install the new window, Gabriel said he was going to cut a hole in the siding. My husband said, "No. That's not how it's done." He explained that he needed to remove the siding in order to install the proper framing for the window. Gabriel didn't want to go to that much trouble. Since it was getting late in the day, he left, saying he'd be back the next day to install the new window. The next day, Gabriel didn't show up on time. Two hours later, we called him to see if he was coming. He said he'd be there around noon. We wanted the job done and done right, so while we waited, we removed the siding from where the new window was going to go. When Gabriel arrived, he had two 2X4's to frame in the window, and that wasn't enough to do the job properly. When my husband asked Gabriel what he was going to use for a header, Gabriel looked at him quizzically and said, "What's a header?" My husband had some lumber so he provided the header, provided instruction, and supervised the installation so that the window would be correctly installed. Clean-up was a joke. After they left the first day, I had piles of dust inside every window that had been removed, stuck on the screening surrounding our porch, and broken glass and ceramic tile in the bathtub. The next day, I requested that they vacuum up the dust before leaving, and they did. I'm still finding broken glass and parts of caulking tubes in the garden. As for caulking, Gabriel did a sloppy job of that too and informed me that repainting around the windows would cover up his sloppy work. When it was time to pay, Gabriel said he wanted cash or a check made out to himself. His truck shows that he takes VISA, so we insisted on paying by VISA. He tried to dissuade us from doing so, saying he hadn't brought his VISA machine with him, to which I told him that he would just have to come back the next day with the VISA machine. Not wanting to do that, he found a way to accept payment manually. After Gabriel left, my husband discovered that several of his tools were missing. (He had tried to keep his own tools separate from Gabriel's, but evidently Gabriel's worker didn't know whose tools were whose.) My husband called Gabriel and asked him to check his truck. Gabriel called back a few minutes later, said he had found the tools, and would bring them back. He lived up to that promise, having his worker return the tools a short time later. Now that we have painted over the messy caulking, the windows look great, and we are happy.
