Cleaner is prompt. She's courteous. She listens to what I want. She likes my dogs. My interactions with them are wonderful. The work is pretty good. They should have a little more attention to detail. The price went up.

Went through several cleaners and liked that when I didn't like how one was working out, I could easily change. But reorienting new ones got tiring. They don't seem to train or verify staff quality, but instead operate more as a broker - middle management of service providers and customers.

As I live in Vancouver, finding someone either local or willing to make
the commute has been an issue. I live single, work full time, have no
pets or children, provide a smoke-free environment, and the house is a total
remodel... a housekeeper's dream job. However, the turnover has been
daunting. From one to the next, training has not been consistent. Each
housekeeper has had her own way of cleaning.

Desiree was our cleaner and we were very pleased with her work.
Everything was done exactly as I asked and she was prompt and polite. I
will definitely use her again, in fact I signed up for biweekly
services from Torias :)

I contacted Toria's cleaning service after going through so much ups and downs with my previous house cleaning service company. Whitney was sent out to our house to clean. She is wonderful. I was impressed that she gets the dust under our coaches, which is something the other company NEVER did even after repeatedly telling them to do this. She also took things off the shelf, individually hand wiped them and placed them back in place. Whitney has that eye for detail to cleaning that I really do appreciate. She always calls the day before to confirm she is coming and when she comes she is very punctual. She has helped me clean my refrigerator, organize, and deep clean the house. We are very fortunate to have her.

I have the same cleaning woman that comes out every time, Ashley, and she is extremely honest. The quality is great. They even call after every cleaning to make sure everything was done properly.

the initial cleaning was $160 for 2 girls, 4 hours. my stuff. of theirs, period. one lady was training the younger, new girl. so deep cleaning was pretty simple except my house is never "dirty". hence the "DEEP" cleaning.
The company is a referral service, not a cleaning company, which was not advertised. The work was not done, although they were reedy to leave an hour early, demanded the entire payment and one of the cleaning girls had cat urine on her purse and had set it on my carpet for the entire time they were in my home. So waking up the next morning was quite a surprise.
The company was professional and really wanted me to get onboard. They sent me someone described as "better, but slow" and she was both of those things. She was nice and got her to almost 60% effective, and willing to have her come a 2nd day on a weekly basis, as I was thrilled get back to the "service" part of it . After all that, I left a key for her under my mat, chatted with her and paid her. She took the key, my best mop and never saw her again. UGH.
No, I would not use this company and no I would not recommend them. Way too much work. Also, they provide no vacuum, cleaning supplies, rags, etc. I prefer a really honest cleaning crew or cleaning lady that works hard, sees dust, does not smoke and I can tip for making my life easier.

We have been using Toria's for about 2 years now. Amy has been coming to our house every other Friday and cleans from top to bottom in 4 hours. We have never had a bad experience and are extremely pleased with the service not only from Amy but from Kim at the office as well. They are always prompt, courteous, trustworthy and professional. I would and have definitely recommend.

Called Toria's after getting a recommendation from a friend. They were prompt and professional about returning calls and setting up the appointment. I explained that this was a complete house cleaning after a move-out. I was assured that one of their more experienced cleaners would be assigned to our job. I also asked on the phone why it seemed their rate was higher than I was used to paying other individuals. I was told that it was because of the overhead (insurance, bond, training, etc) and that for move-out cleanings the house-cleaner would provide all her/his own cleaning supplies and tools. The person showed up late and without any cleaning supplies or tools. She was very apologetic and after a couple phone calls we concluded there must have been a miscommunication between the management and house cleaner. She then left for almost and hour to gather up cleaning supplies. After a couple hours it became very clear that the house cleaner was very inexperienced. We cut her loose after 5 hours and then my wife and I ended up spending many more hours finishing the job. The company did end up giving us a small break on the price after we explained the situation to them.

I have had 3 different people clean my house so far. The first person was great, but later became unavailable. The 2nd person we had did an ok job, but she didn’t follow instructions well, and she smelled badly of cigarette smoke. I spoke with the manager and requested a non-smoker and she said that was not a problem. The 3rd person did a pretty good job. Overall, the quality is pretty good and the prices are very reasonable. They always call after sending a new person to make sure I am happy with the service provided. I didn’t list an A for quality because they could do a little better job in some areas, but overall, I get my money’s worth and plan to continue using them.

I use Toria's for a regular monthly house cleaning. The have my credit card on file and handle everything, so I never have to even think about it - I just come home to a spotless house. Tami, the actual cleaner, is fantastic, and regularly suggests additional cleaning tasks she can take care of. They are proactive, responsive, and provide excellent service.

Had a hard time getting someone to do a decent job from this company. I'm sure if you find the right person you could have a positive experience. Went through two different people before we decided to go with another company. I am not that picky, but we got a few really sub par house cleaners from Toria's.

"THE MEMBER BEGAN USING TORIA’S CLEANING SERVICE IN SEPTEMBER OF 2007. HE WAS PLEASED WITH THE HOUSEKEEPER THAT WE WOULD SENT OVER TO HIM ON A WEEKLY BASIS. THAT HOUSEKEEPER MOVED IN TO HAWAII IN DECEMBER, SO WE HAD TO SEND HIM A NEW HOUSEKEEPER. ALTHOUGH HIGHLY RATED, HER WORK WAS DEEMED UNSATISFACTORY. WE OFFERED TO SEND HIM ANOTHER HOUSEKEEPER AND 4 HOURS OF FREE SERVICE, WHICH HE DECLINED AND CANCELED THE SERVICE. WE STRIVE TO EXCEED OUR CLIENT’S EXPECTATIONS AND WHEN WE FAIL TO REACH THAT GOAL, WE OFFER TO DO WHAT WE CAN TO ENSURE OUR CUSTOMER’S SATISFACTION."

Countertops, sinks, cabinets in upstairs area were done as advertised by Mary. During pre-work telephone conversation, Mary did not indicate working with her husband, but did indicate she would be doing the job adequately and properly. With the exception of two items (later comment), the work was done well. However, the window blinds were not completely cleaned of dust. Also, baseboards in the downstairs area under the stairway were not cleaned and dirt was not removed from the top of a downstairs closet that was visible under the stairs. The other item is Mary's husband was assisting her, but he was not mentioned during the original telephone conversation. And, lastly, eight man-hours to do the work seems somewhat excessive for a vacant apartment. No prior time commitment was given, but my occupied home is regularly cleaned by two people in four hours, and there is furniture, etc., in the way.

"THIS JOB WAS COMPLETED BY MARY MILLICAN AND HER HUSBAND JOHN. MARY AND HER HUSBAND HAVE BEEN CLEANING EMPTY HOMES AND APARTMENTS THROUGH TORIA'S FOR OVER 4 YEARS. ALL THE FEEDBACK FROM CLIENTS HOUSES THEY HAVE CLEANED HAVE BEEN EXCELLENT TO VERY, VERY GOOD. ON THIS PARTICULAR HOUSE MARY SAID IT HAD SAT VACANT FOR SOME TIME. MOLD AND MILDEW HAD SET UP IN SOME AREAS. SHE SPENT QUITE A WHILE ON THE DISHWASHER. IT HAD A LOT OF MILDEW BUILT UP IN IT. THERE WAS ALSO MOLD IN THE BATHROOM. THE ONLY THING THE HOUSEKEEPERS DID NOT FEEL COMFORTABLE CLEANING WAS A CHANDELIER THAT LOOKED VERY FRAGILE. THEY DID NOT WANT TO RISK BREAKAGE OF THIS ITEM. They offered me a free cleaning due to the situation. I offered to pay additional for more cleaning but she said she was scheduled to be somewhere else. Even though the free cleaning was done, I would not recommend this company nor use them again.
