Description of Work: Installed new metal lining in the wooden gutters on the front of 1917 vintage house and porch. The bid seemed high until we realized the amount of detailed labor involved in the metal fabrication and installation. Cedric was extremely professional and explained the entire project very clearly before we accepted the bid. It was very difficult to find companies that do this type of work. Two other vendors promised to look at this project. One was a no show and the second failed to deliver a bid. The crew worked extremely hard, took care not to damage out plantings or other property. Cedric also coordinates with out roofer to remove the bottom row of shingles around the perimeter of the gutter so the loning could be installed properly. Overall this was a very positive experience and we would recommend Schmeer Sheetmetal to others

+ -1 moreSchmeer Sheet Metal Owner came out to provide an estimate on our home for some copper flashing on the ridgeline, and some possible gutter work. WHile the gentleman was very knowledgeable, I did think his estimate was high. However, the type of work he is involved in is not easy, and I get the impression they do outstanding work. Even though I thought his estimate was high, I now wish I had looked more into it with him, as our original gutters are horrible, and the copper flashing while expensive, would be a nice fix to our current moss problems!
Description of Work: Request for a quote to install ridgeline flashing and soldered, decorative gutters.
