Description of Work: Called company many days in advance (July 5) needed to have work done by juy 31.. informed me he could give estimate on 7/19/12 and would call me at 9am to set up time. ( I assumed we were on track) Called him at 1030 on the 19th, because I was waiting to hear from him. I was really anxious to get the job done. Already put off by fact that he could not give estimate until the 19th. He returned by call at 11am. Wanted to schelude another time "to touch base" It would be sometime in August. I told him this was my only day off until August first. I needed the job completed by july 31 as per first phone conversation. I did not want to set up another "touch base" phone call. I have already WASTED 14 days for this first "touch base" phone call. I am now have a real problem on my hands with no time off to deal with it. I resent his wasting my time, with "touch base" phone calls that are forgotten and accomplish nothing. If he has been honest the first time I called him and told me he could not do the job by my deadline, I could have moved on and would not be in the mess I am now. NO time off and NO time to get the job done. The house painting has been on the books for August 2nd since June 2nd.

+ 0 moreVery full gutters were cleaned as desired, and some moss and other debris cleared from the roof. Some moss remained; this was not unexpected as he did not do a pressure wash. Presumably the moss killer he applied will get rid of it eventually. Very clean job--there was no mess left at all; all the debris was put in my recycling bin as stated.

Jai Dev is unbelievably professional and thorough, and we will use him exclusively to take care of property needs. Most highly recommend him!

Description of Work: Jai Dev cleaned the gutters and blew a huge accumulation of pine needles off the roof of our two-story home. It had probably been a year-plus since we'd last had someone do this and I could see that the gutters were packed in spots. Not any more... Everything appears to be nice and clean, ready for the Fall. He even cleaned our two skylights while he was on the roof!

+ 1 moreJai Dav had regularly cleaned the roof of the one-story office building where I worked, and when I saw his name on Angie's List I called him. We had thought that our request for pruning might not be something he'd be willing to do, but he said he often did that. He was efficient and professional, taking care to be very neat, and advising us on the condition of our older roof. He's coming back in January to treat the roof with a moss-preventative. We were very pleased with every aspect of his work. His was the best roof service we've ever used.
Description of Work: Swept roof, removed a few patches of moss, cleaned skylight, cleaned gutters, and power-washed patio. Also pruned rhododendron bush growing over a section of roof. Jai Dav collected roof and gutter debris into plastic bags which he dumped into our yard debris bin, filling the entire container. We agreed to pick up and dispose of the vegetation from pruning.

+ -1 moreHe was booked a week out, but I decided to wait the week because of the reviews. He cleaned out the gutters, disposed of the debris into my yard debris container and trimmed back an overhanging Japanese maple. He did a nice job on the tree trim (I am particular about pruning). He cleaned up completely. There was no added charge for the tree trimming or the grate. He did not flush out downspouts, but offered to come back at no additional charge if there was a further problem. He was courteous and prompt.
Description of Work: Jai Dev scooped out our gutters, trimmed overhanging branches, inserted a metal grate in one downspout and cleaned up.

+ 0 moreThere were 2-3 years accumulation of pine needles on the roof and on top of the gutter covers. He emptied everything into the yard debris cart. In addition, he even adjusted the fence gate locks. He also trimmed the tree limbs hanging over the gutters. I have lots of trees in my yard and my neighbors yard so I really appreciate the great job he does for me.
Description of Work: I have used JaiDev for more than 15 years to clean the gutters. He does a wonderful job. A few years ago he installed gutter covers which have worked great. So when I say he cleans the gutters, I mean that he gets the 6 inch pine tree needles stuck to the top of the gutters. He also blows off the pine needles accumulating on the roof. Even a strong wind doesn't them.The gutter covers he installed work great. I rarely have a gutter that is pouring out water. And when it happens occasionally JaiDev comes over right away and fixes it.

The first time, I got an appointment, but then he couldn't make it, so he called and rescheduled. That was very thoughtful. He trimmed branches that were interfering with the gutters, and left our property totally free of gutter debris. We would most highly recommend him to anyone who needs gutter cleaning. After using other companies over the years and not being satisfied, we are thrilled to have someone as reliable and thorough as Mr. Racine.
Description of Work: We have big trees that shed many pine needles and leaves, which need to be removed twice each fall. Jai Dev Racine was so professional in tackling the job in a timely manner on both 9/29/2009 and 12/03/2009 that we are adding him to our calendar on a permanent basis.
