Thank you for leaving us a great review! I'm so happy we were even able to make your tenant happy! It was a great educational experience for them and I believe you wont have those same problems again. It was a pleasure to meet and help you with your rental. It was a simple fix and I'm surprised the previous company didn't serve you better. If you ever need us in the future (which I hope you don't) we'll be here and ready. For any Land Lords out there I have one strong recommendation, Humidity Sensing Bathroom Fans. A few hundred dollars to save thousands. Call and I can explain more. Have a great day. I'm very sorry you had that experience. I've had some trouble with my answering service that I believe has been worked out. We really love helping people and I get very disappointed as a business owner and professional when things like this happen. All I can say is that we always try our very best and we will always work on getting better. While sometimes we have been hard to reach, our commitment to quality never stops. You can see that by all the people who we have had the opportunity to help. Thank you for reaching out and again I'm sorry you couldn't reach us. I hope your clean up went well. We are here and excited to help if you need us in the future. Have a great day. Best Regards, Ryan Gilyeat- PresidentService Provider Response

This situation is not as it was stated in this review. Please read my full response, I apologize for the length. We responded to what we were told was a "new" loss. But, only after we found extensive microbial growth behind the wainscoting/paneling in the basement, did the homeowner inform us the home had been previously flooded by the creek behind it during the 1996 flood and it had not been remediated at that time. Trying to get coverage for the old storm damage, the homeowner tried to convince us to use our name, to tell her story that everything was brand new to her adjuster. Microbial growth of that magnitude takes weeks to months to develop to that degree, it doesn't start that way. Everyone in the industry knows that. If things can get covered, we know we are the best to help. But we can't be fraudulent or hide facts. The insurance covered the new storm damage but denied coverage to the old mold clean up that was not even in the new loss area. Because it was not an "accidental sudden loss" which they cover. It was the very definition of a "slow neglected leak" in industry terms. I can't change that. I have never promised more than I could give. I try to give more than I can promise. I hold very, very true to standing behind that as my hundreds of other reviews attest to. When we walk into any damage of a home of this nature the first step, by industry standards, is to get it inspected by an (IEP) Indoor Environmental Professional to check for cross contamination by mold spores and for asbestos. They also establish the scope of work. By regulation, any structures 2004 and older are required to be tested for asbestos. This 1954 home also needed lead testing. We gave names of testing companies, we did not hire any. It was a $2300 test because it was extremely large on the mold portion and secondly the homeowner directed them to test everything instead of the minimum baseline samples. Homeowners are in control of those tests and the costs, nothing gets done by surprise or without consent. Our estimate for the cost of mitigation was written for $16,000. Large definitely, but truly needed and nowhere near the numbers noted above. There is no way, even with my being an IICRC certified Master Restorer, that I could fix my own damage of that size for only $1100. In my opinion this loss wasn't handled to industry standards, again. Remediating it properly is a costly procedure. We do our best to perform only great work and we always will. We appreciate the call and giving us the opportunity to help. I hope you got what you needed to return your home to a safe and clean condition. We pride ourselves on Excellent communication on all projects and especially on the Loss's involving pre-existing damage or long terms leaks that can cause microbial growth and structural rot. Most importantly we always offer and explain the options for each project and only proceed on the homeowner's approved course of action. But in all honesty, we refused the job after it was obvious we were being mislead. I know that our consistency over time will prove us right. Again, we love what we do. My team is the highest certified and best in town. I hope that anyone who reads this and sees all the outstanding reviews we have, will be confident we only care about taking exceptional care of our customers. That is our cornerstone. Ryan Gilyeat.
