Someone barely touched your mailbox. You wanted an estimate to replace it. I gave that to you. I then asked how I was going to get paid. You had no idea. Why would anyone take on this job when there are no guarantees as to who is going to pay for the work? I am sorry you had such a poor experience with me but I know of no other licensed contractor who would risk doing this work. Rob Willis Mt. Tabor Construction 503 756-3219Service Provider Response
Unfortunately, I did not get my point across to you when I said that I was currently working out of state and it would be unprofessional of me to give you a bid over the phone concerning a project that I have not inspected. You kept pushing me for a phone bid until I realized that I would not be a good fit for you. I was very curtious and thanked you for your call. For this, you give me my worst review in a decade? Dear Member, As you are well aware, Portland has been experiencing unprecedented growth in home sales, home repairs and remodels for the past four years. Even with this growth. Mt. Tabor Construction has been able to handle the increase in volume of phone calls, texts and emails without increasing our overhead. We are a small company and stay competitive by keeping our costs low. This being said, when I answered your call, I told you that I was working on a large remodel project and would be unable to leave it in order to bid yours. I also mentioned that our over the phone policy is to ask for a "ball park" budget upfront to see if we were on the same page. In review, I answered your call, was completely honest with you concerning my availability and budget policy, and for this I get a "C" grade. Wow.NA
