Great. All we had to do was place the order and the soil was delivered exactly when they said it would be. Not sure the quality of the soul yet, as we just planted our starts in it less than a week ago.

It was excellent response and service.

Order taking and delivery of product went fine .. nice people. However the quality of the compost is lousy. It was wet and loaded with hundreds of 10and quot; sized clumps of heavy/clay like material which even a rototiller had a difficult time breaking up ... to make matters worse there were lots of baseball/softball sized rocks in the material which looked exactly like the other big clogs and those played havoc with my rototiller which ended up in the shop with a repair bill greater than the cost of the compost. They apparently make no effort to screen their compost. In hindsight I wish I had selected another compost material and choose Grimms.

My landscaper got there at 4:45 to load more rock, but neither of the desk women were willing to do the transaction because they had to leave exactly at 5:00. I was surprised they weren't willing to help out in this emergency. That's what customer service is all about. So, won't recommend them (plenty of competition) and when I went to another place for the pavers on Monday, found out the new place was also less expensive.

They were good. They were fine. They were on time. Everything was as expected. Everything was prompt. The price was reasonable.

Recommended the mulch to order, and delivered it within a day. Best prices in town, product as advertised.

We thought that the pricing was reasonable. They were quick, easy and the wood was delivered on time. They also came highly recommended. We called and talked to someone on the phone and they were certainly very professional and they gave us the information that we wanted and needed. They scheduled when it was best for us, which was good and then the driver came with the wood and he was terrific.

The employees at Mt. Scott Fuel are professional and friendly. The equipment operator loads materials into your truck for you. Always a positive experience.

At time of order she told me that it's been rained on but should burn just fine. Driver was on time and courteous. Delivered wood was more than and quot;rain wetand quot;; it was water logged and does not burn. When I called to complain was told that i should have ordered the wood earlier. Lesson learned -- find out where wood is stored before ordering and dont order from Mt. Scott.

A friend recommended him. They are great. It's been a few years since we've used them.

I called Mt. Scott Fuel to purchase a cord of firewood on 9/19/2011. I bought a cord in 2010 and was very pleased with it. The woman who answered the phone was very pleasant and knowledgeable, and she signed me up for delivery the morning of 9/21. The driver arrived within the stated time frame (8-12) and was absolutely tremendous! I asked if he could drop the wood at the top of my driveway, which is on an incline, narrow, and the sides are walled. He very carefully backed the big dump truck up my driveway and carefully unloaded the wood even closer to the site of my wood stack than I thought possible. He saved me many, many trips with my wheelbarrow, and I can't thank him enough! The wood was clean and dry with very little extra 'mulch'. It was a very generous cord and the same price as last year.

We called yesterday and ordered a unit of medium hemlock bark mulch, and they were able to deliver it today! They called before they came, as I had requested, and delivered it with no problems.

I spent about $100 for about two yards. I like the way the seeded chip comes and I use it for pathways. They have really nice drivers and I like that they come in and I have a really short driveway and they put it where I want. Often I can call and get it delivered the same day, so when the weather is good and I want it, I get it.

I called late Friday and they were able to deliver the next day. They gave us a window of 'morning' and almost made it, making it to the house a little after noon. The driver was really nice, very careful to avoid damaging landscape with the dropped load of wood in the driveway. The wood itself was pretty clean, and we had about 3 barrows full of bark and small scraps, but no dirt, and the wood looks perfectly seasoned and dry and clean. It was way more wood than we expected, based on the dimensions of a pile made of up 1/2 cord, and we're pretty sure it was more than that. Very happy with Mt. Scott...we've been getting mulch from them for years, but this is the first time we've tried firewood. I highly recommend them.

They have good prices, good selection, and they come when they say they are going to come.

When I called that day, I didn't expect them to deliver the wood the same day. The wood was clean and nothing was dead. They put it in a good place, away from my flower beds right where I asked them to! He was very careful with the dump truck. There was hardly any debris after he was done stacking it. I give them very high marks, all the way around I think they did a really great job. I used Angie's List to find them and I would definitely use them again. The amount they charged was in reason and I feel I got what I paid for.

Courteous, helpful, and prompt!

I called to order, and it was delivered next day, exactly where I'd asked. It seemed ok, but growth where I've planted hasn't been particularly great. I had to fertilize almost immediately. Their bark dust was good quality, although it did sprout quite a few weeds at first.

They were prompt and did exactly what I requested. The mulch was rich and after hours of wheel barrow work, we got it spread around our garden beds.

They helped me pick out the gravel and understand how much I needed. they delivered on time and the price was right.

Called and got prices from Michelle -- a **BIG** problem we have had in buying firewood in the past is that few people seem to know (or want to know) what a cord of wood actually is. They were very honest on the phone -- full cord, wood is seasoned, but not dry (due to rains and the fact that the wood is stored outside). Is it a full cord? yes. Is it split? yes. Is it mostly Alder and Maple, little Fir? Yes. Do they unload it? Yes -- dump it (not stack it). Ordered a cord. Can deliver tomorrow. Driver called when on the way. Wood looks good. It *IS* a full cord (Yea!), it is seasoned, and it is mostly Alder and Maple, some Fir. Even some other gems -- Walnut! He dumped it right where I wanted it. Was friendly. Only cautions I would give: some of the pieces are pretty big (should have been split more), and the driver was quite adamant that he had brought way more than a cord -- not by my measurement...I measured 1 cord exactly.
