Great service. They were very flexible in scheduling. We did have to reschedule a few times and they were patient and courteous with us. They were also very professional.

I wanted a quote for tearing out the flooring in my basement, as I was pretty sure that was the source of our problems. He explained how that was unlikely to be the case. I tried to get him to schedule it any way, and he talked me out of it. I was ready to give him a lot of money and he just wouldn't have it. He spent two hours using a moisture sensor and crawling through the crawlspaces and attic, as well as combing every inch of the basement and the rest of the house (even the closets). He had a lot of concrete suggestions for removing areas of moisture from the house, including a leaking toilet and our shower handles, as well as areas of the yard that could use regrading. He was incredibly thorough and professional. I would use him again in a heartbeat. My air sample tests came back normal, and knowing that he explored every crevice of my attic and crawlspaces gave me peace of mind.

In addition to all the above that was done in the order as described I needed MTSO to prepare a special extra specific report because I live in a townhouse and the home owner's association is responsible for all work done on the outside of the property. So I was not capable of hiring a company to fix most of the ventilation problems because homeowners are not allow to alter in any way the outside structure, including the need roof ventilation improvements. So I asked Garrett to provide me with and special report that not only described the required corrections required to the roof ventilation but also explained the principles of ventilation so that the HOA board could understand that if the HOA did not correct the ventilation problems then the mold will certainly return. Garrett provides an outstanding report which convinced the HOA to approve correcting the ventilation issues with the roof so that I could proceed with all the other ventilation corrections and then have the mold remediated by Oregon Restoration which did an outstanding job remediating the mold. Not only did Garrett provided this extra detailed report he did so at no additional charge.

We had water leaking into our home on a Sunday. We discovered the mold problem at that time. We had no idea mold was growing in our attic. This company was the first one we called Monday morning. They were able to be out in a few hours. We were nervous about the mold because one hears scary stories about it, so we went this company because they could be right out. Paul and Garrett were on time. Their vehicle was unmarked so as not to advertise to the neighbors we have mold, which we appreciated. They were very professional and knowledgeable about mold. They were extremely thorough. They took pictures of the areas of mold in the attic, which they showed us. They were also able to reassure us that it was not a serious problem in that the areas were few. They could tell immediately that the mold was from a lack of attic ventilation and not from our roof leak. They were able to make recommendations on how to improve ventilation and what is better-vents versus attic fans. Garrett put blue tape on all the areas of mold, so the remediator could see them. Their report came to us on Wednesday, and we were glad to get it so promptly. They have since allowed us to email them several times with our questions that have resulted from what several mold remediators and roofers have recommended. We rated the price an and quot;Aand quot; because we feel we are getting our monies worth. However, we don't have any comparison since we have not spoken to any other testing service. Once the mold is gone, we will need to have another inspection and air quality testing done. We fully intend to hire this company to do that for us. October 2013-we finally were able to do all we had to do to get rid of the mold in the attic. We had Garrett back to retest to be sure all mold is gone, and our quality was not compromised with the clean-up. Garrett did his usual thorough job. He was professional, personalbe, and he is the only contractor we have had here in the past 9 months that did not ruin something else in our home while doing his job.

I thought they did a good job. They treated me fairly and they charged very efficiently. The workers were very thorough and they did what they said what they said they were going to do. They did the job efficiently and quickly.

They did a good job and came on time. They were polite and cordial. They did a thorough job and gave us some recommendations. They had also gave us advice on what to watch for in the future.

Paul arrived promptly for the one and a half hour inspection. I asked him to explain in detail what he was doing and to see each step of the way. I learned a great deal about my home during this inspection. He offered several helpful suggestions and easy home remedies for some minor problems. All in all I was very satisfied with the inspection. I obtained peace of mind from the results which was worth the price paid for this service.

Paul was prompt, efficient and full of good information for me. He checked the house visually, including the attic, garage, inside the house, and the crawl space and took air samples inside and out. He found no more mold and told me to just clean the door well. He didn't try to talk us into unnecessary work. He sent a complete report from the lab that will be a plus when we sell the house down the road. They don't do the cleanup work themselves which made me feel they wouldn't benefit from finding something that wasn't really there.
