Locksmith Plus Inc

We traveled from Eugene to Portland and got stuck when the key in my husband's truck would not turn. It was a Sunday evening, about 7:30, so we knew our options were limited. I was about to book a Greyhound just to get us home, but my husband decided to see if this was even a service a locksmith would provide. He called Locksmith Plus and was told that it was something they could do and that someone would be in touch shortly. We sat outside with our 1- and 3-year-old children on a summer day for 2+ hours with calls back and forth confirming that someone was coming out. During that time, we missed the last Greyhound home. When someone did arrive, he had been sent out to unlock our doors, which we didn't need, and he didn't have any tools available to do the service we required. He said someone else was on the way. At 10:00 p.m., Locksmith Plus said that they actually were not sending anyone. When I called to discuss it, Shane hung up on me. I became very angry, which is rare for me, but considering that we had just missed our ride home and he was entirely unapologetic, I was at the end of my rope. He called me entitled and hung up again. At that point, our only option was to take a cab to a hotel and contact a different locksmith the next morning. We did, and we were on our way within an hour thanks to that awesome, professional company. TL;DR: Locksmith Plus provided the worst customer service I have ever experienced with any company. If I could give 0 stars, I would. Do not trust them to help you when you're stuck. They won't even treat you with basic human decency.

Terrible time wasters. Seems like their work is all done by independent contractors with no quality standards. Called to have the locks changed on a new home. I wanted a specific kind of system installed and was told that they carried the brand I wanted and could do the work I outlined. If you visit their website you see a picture of a very professional looking locksmith's van with the company logo on the side. However, the guy who showed up at my house was just driving his beat up old compact. The "locksmith," Neil, seemed to have only very basic knowledge about locks, not what I would expect from a professional locksmith. Turns out, they do not carry the specific brand I had been told they did, and I wasted a morning waiting for them to show up, only to find out they weren't equipped to do the job I needed done. When I asked for a refund of the service charge they collected for the visit because I had been misled when I called, I was accused of lying, and told that no refund would be issued. Now I am going to have to open a dispute with my credit card company. Very bad business.
