We called, they came , they did the job quickly and left.

They were excellent. I got several bids and they were a fraction of the cost of the other bids. They were very personable.

Within a week of getting an estimate for the job, the work was scheduled. The job was started in the morning, and done by afternoon. The work done was excellent, and the garage doors roll ever so smoothly! I did not compare prices, but for the time spent and the quality of the work I thought the price was very fair.

I called Larry Myers on Wednesday inquiring about a quote. The woman I interacted with on the phone was very knowledgeable, and gave me enough information about the different door openers and benefits of each that I was opted to schedule an appointment immediately instead of looking elsewhere. I scheduled the appointment for Friday, between 9am and 11am. Brandon arrived promptly at 9am on Friday. His work was efficient and professional, but he was simultaneously friendly and happy to explain the work he was doing when I inquired. I am thrilled with the setup, and ended up spending less money than originally quoted. I highly recommend this company, and would use them again without hesitation!

Of three bids we received, they were the most competitive and presented the best plan for framing down the door (original opening was 23x10 feet). They recommended a low head room track to maximize our options and give us the greatest opening space. They were very prompt in giving us our bid, prepping the door, and placing it once it came in (we had to special order the large size, hence the higher cost). Following installation, we noticed a few small nicks on the door, which were very small and didn't concern us enough to call them. However, they ordered and replace the section with the nicks independently. They also came back out and moved the receiver on the automatic door safety mechanism to prevent some closing issues we were having when sun was shining directly in the receiver and tripping the safety open mechanism. I was very impressed with their professionalism, clean-up, and follow-up. Funnily enough, we never actually met anyone from the company in person. They did the bid, all of the work, and the repairs while we were at work, and I was comfortable with that due to their professionalism and work quality.

It went very well - I was very pleased with the work.

I called on a Wed. morning with the dimensions of the door I wanted replaced. The very helpful woman that answered gave me a "rough estimate" of $600, depending on a site visit/estimate and the quality of door I would choose. She gave me a website address to look at my options. I explained I needed the job done ASAP, as I was leaving town in a few days. She said she would have someone get back to me very soon. Later that same day, I got a call from Larry Myers asking if he could stop by, and he showed up within an hour. He looked at the door, gave me a brochure and an estimate of $595. The next morning, at 9 sharp, his worker Kurt showed up with the new garage door and went to work. Three hours later, I had a new, fully insulated metal/vinyl garage door. Kurt removed and hauled away my old piece of junk. Final bill: $590.

They were very friendly when they were there working. They were very professional about the job. They showed up on time to do the work for me. The insurance covered the cost of the repairs.

I called and was given an estimate over the phone, based on the size of the door. The woman I spoke to pointed me to the website of the door manufacturer they use, and I went there to pick out the style of door we wanted. When I told them I wanted to go ahead, they sent someone out to confirm the estimate - no doubt to make sure the installation would be a typical one, and not hampered by small clearances or rotting framing. The day after the in-person estimate, someone called me to schedule the installation. On the day of the installation the installer arrived well within the window of time given and got right to work. I had to leave shortly after he arrived, and when I returned the door was installed, the old door and hardware hauled away, and the work area clean. The whole process took less than a week, and couldn't have been less painless.

Brandon arrived within the stated window of time. I showed him what happened to the springs and cables on the garage door. He understood what needed to be done immediately. He told me the price and I approved. He got right to work. It took about 30-40 minutes. He replaced the springs and added safety cables, which I didn't even know I should have. If the springs break in the future; the safety cables will prevent the spring from flying out into the garage and causing damage or injury. I really appreciated that. He also greased the chain for the opener so it would run smoothly and quietly. I gave him a check and he gave me the receipt. I appreciated his straightforward approach and not trying to sell me things I didn't need.

Called around to a couple of garage door companies. Best price quote and availability was from Larry Myers. Called on a Sunday and Larry had someone over on Monday. Spent a little more than quoted, but only because I decided to get a $40 override device (the door is the only way into the garage). Replaced the opener and installed a remote keypad. Work was done well and quickly.

I spoke with several companies about the work to be done. This company was the most informative and had the best price. There was a little confusion about the day that it was to be done, but everything was worked out and completed within a week of my original call.

Larry himself called me at 8:30 am Saturday morning and said he could have someone there by 9 am. I told him he was going to have another glowing report on Angie's List again! And indeed his son showed up right away, had the door fixed in minutes, and then did a little service on the door. Now it's working as good as ever, esp for a 60 year old door! We were trapped in the house since the door wouldn't budge open more than an inch and we were having company that evening. When we will replace the door, we will have them do the job.

Quoted job over phone, scheduled someone to come out in two days. He arrived on time and got right to work. Determined the cause of the problem and fixed it. Also got our old garage door opener working again at no extra charge. Excellent work, very friendly and helpful.

I chose them because they used a local company manufacturer for their garage doors in Tacoma. I also chose them because they gave me next day service and I was desperate because the spring had broke and I couldn't open the door. I also chose them because of price. Installer was very very courteous and respectful. He worked by himself and did the job in a very timely manner. On the garage door opener, they gave me 2 remotes and only charged me $10 for an additional keypad. I also upgraded to nylon rollers with bearings for only $20 plus tax. Considerably under the price for the opener in comparison to other companies. They were very easy to deal with over the phone (Faye). I am very happy.

I called on Tuesday, got an estimate and then got the installation scheduled for Friday.

I am submitting this report on behalf of a friend, for whom I performed an Angie's List search, and whose opinion I respect completely. She not only had a wonderful result with Larry Myers Garage Doors, but she gave Mr. Myers' name to an assistant at my husband's law firm. The assistant used the same company. Once again, the assistant had a wonderful, successful result. I intend to give Mr. Myers a call soon and hopefully he's not too busy!

I called and the next day they sent Doug to replace the springs. After replacing the springs we found out the door opener had to be replaced as well. Doug came back the next day with a new opener and installed it quickly. We was very professional and informed.

Did a great job - came out and installed a belt drive garage door opener and then for no extra charge programmed the remote in our second car. Way above the call of duty and he was the most reasonably priced and was honest, courteous and on time.

Excellent service. On time and did work for the price quoted. Only complaint is that we asked for pricing for replacement of a door panel and no one has gotten back to us.

When I called them for an estimate they came out the next day. I waited a month before calling them to schedule the job. On that morning the installer was there around 8:30 and did a very professional job. It took longer than he expected because I needed the opening framed down to fit a standard size door and he did not have the right size of 2x4's, but while he waited for them to be brought out to him he kept busy with assembling the door. Altogether, he was here about 5 1/2 hours. The door looks great and the opener is as quiet as was advertised.

I called early in the morning and they scheduled an appointment for later that day. Replaced both springs as recommended even though only one was broken. Due to metal fatigue it would be a short matter of time before the other broke. Adjusted door, oiled and service same door and other garage door. Very prompt, courteous and quick. Would highly recommend them.

Myers Garage Doors made a Saturday service call at no extra charge (things always seem to break on weekends!). Doug was on time for the appointment. He needed to come back Monday because he didn't have the bracket part that also needed to be replaced and left us a can of spray lubricant to help with general maintenance. He was very pleasant to work with.

They were very helpful. I used the list because I have been looking for contractors for my elderly parents. The staff were courteous and kind, would do business with them again in a minute. They were responsive and arrived on time to do the job.
