James Dinh, Uphosterer

In August, I delivered a recliner chair to Mr. Dinh's home in order to receive an estimate for his work to reupholster the chair.  He estimated $200 and told me the amount of fabric to purchase.  Mr. Dinh's shop is in his garage adjoining his home.  He had reupholstered a chair for me in the past and did a beautiful job.  I selected and purchased the fabric, delivered it  to him, and in two weeks I picked up the completed chair.  The work was perfectly performed.
Very soon I delivered a leather chair requesting an estimate....It is a very large and comfortable chair that my cats had ruined by scratching the leather with their claws.  He estimated $250 and told me the amount of fabric to purchase.  I selected a rather wild floral pattern, an expensive fabric made in Spain.  Mr. Dinh explained to me how he would organize the pattern on the chair.  When I picked up the chair a week later, it was so totally beautiful....the patern was balanced, the work expertly completed.
Mr. Dinh is a perfectionist, and he is concerned about charging a reasonable and affordable fee for his work.  I have recommended him to friends, and they have all been very satisfied.  I feel very fortunate to be one of his customers.
