I’m sorry that’s what you experienced but we originally scheduled to get work done together with one of your neighbors that way it would save you some money. I explained that we could offer a discount if done at the same time. When you rescheduled, you then lost your discount and then you added to the work. I declined to sign onto your project because you wanted to do it without a city permit and you still wanted the same discount even though I explained multiple times the reason for the discount on the original bid. I hope you were able to find another contractor to complete your project.Service Provider Response
I'm sorry that your experience is far from the truth. I came originally and walked the project with you. You told me it was about 460 sq ft and by looking at what you were pointing out I agreed. You then were supposed to pick a stamp design and color and let me know before the project was to begin. The morning I came to sign the proposal you had now outlined the patio with twine that was now twice the size we discussed. I told you that it was bigger than we had discussed and you agreed but claimed not by much. I asked my brother to grab the measuring tape. I measured and we were at over 900 sq ft. I told you what the cost of your "not by much" was and then you started in with the yelling and profanities. I tried to negotiate with you and offering to pour the 460 sq ft we originally discussed but I couldn't get you to calm down. Your dad then measured and I explained to him what I was talking about and he agreed. My guys did come to the back but when you wouldn't stop yelling they went back to the front and loaded the equipment they had already unloaded. I was uncomfortable just like them and could totally tell your dad was too. I decided to leave and still believe that was the best decision for all involved.concrete resurfacing
